OwlofOliveGrove
The result tonight wasn't what we wanted but you can't win them all. We move on to the next. However, I think it's time CC stopped playing the tiredness card now. It's starting to get embarrassing. People are calling it before he's even said it, that's how obvious it's become. Not to mention the fact that it's rubbish...Huddersfield played on Saturday (v. Man City!) and they won tonight. Oh yeah...and we have a squad of supposed professional athletes who should be able to play twice in 4 days without needing an extensive spa break in between. Beholder
Hudds rested about 7 players. But I agree it should never be mentioned by the manager as it gives them an excuse. Even if it isn't conscious.

StudentOwl
I love Carlos, but we have a big enough squad that tiredness should never be an excuse, end of.

TheEnchanter
Emphasised even more by the fact we ended the game 1000% better than we started it. We must've got 'untired' as the game went on.

nebneeb
Agree. It's an excuse before we even kick off. Didn't look tired in the second half anyway. If we'd started with intensity and desire like we finished we would most likely taken the lead and been able to cruise to victory. We lost, and we were inefficient tonight. ash60s
wella we are massive with good mission, players not children anymore theya know whata I want now anda what this beeg club desires and deserves but the fabulous massive away following needs to come to the home house then you will see the real sheffield wednesday
Whatahoot
Tell people often enough that they will be tired playing twice in 4 days, then they bloody well will be tired. Will Carlos never learn about this. This is the Championship and we all know that 46 games and cup matches have got to be played , so just get on with it without moaning, our squad should be able to take it
s6 owl
Maybe he should look at his management techniques when it comes to fitness work on the training ground as it doesn't seem to be a problem for all the other clubs in this league
LiamK2292
Team selection? Tactics? Good well organised teams overcome these things. Excuses. We had the momentum and you'd rather have that over rest...

james o connor
If he's so worried about tiredness , he has our best winger that he refuses to use properly. He also had winnall who only played five mins Saturday and he's bought palmer in. Rubbish excuse , we lost because his stupid park the bus in our own box tactic finally caught us out
Guest Kameron
Were we tired for the Bristol City game too having only had 11 days rest? Edited February 22, 2017 by Kameron
Ronnie Starling
Its getting like the Wenger and his excuses for Arsenal not being mentally tough for a game. Players start to think it and end up beating themselves before they start.

dent0n
Nothing to do with tiredness....if that was the case the game would of been the other way round.........good 1st half and then with tiredness fall apart 2nd half ....total opposite
