On every game it seems major decisions aren't given and too many things are missed. The FA and FL have hung refs out to dry with their lack of willingness to bring technology in. No wonder the government has given a vote of no confidence in them. Sort ft it out FFS. Why should one man ruin the game for either side. It's like a pantomime villain at times watching these refs. Tonight wasn't about technology. The first point nails it. He was totally incompetent. Should find another career cos not even fit for amateur league. The lad was through on goal to pass or shoot and then was flattened, the only ball their player got was one of Forestieris judging the pain he was in after the collision . They get a free kick almost identical to the pen that wasn't given which led to the first one and a corner that shouldn't have been which led to the second. Still had to be defended and they weren't. If a referee is going onto the pitch with the idea that if a certain someone goes down then they must be diving then they should not be officiating that game should they? Then he goes and gives a free kick a minute later for less of a foul and they score from it although no doubt we should have defended better then gives a corner when it was quite clear it should have been a goal kick and they score from that, although again terrible defending although sasso was marking the man who scored and was knocked on his ass need to see that again. There were many many decision 1st half which were unbelievable. Gave them free kicks for anything but nothing for us. At one point 2 of their players challenged Westwood when he was kicking the ball causing him to become off balance and fall over and the ball went out for a throw and nothing was given. Unbelievable reffing Then five mins later the ball went out right on the corner flag with him stood five yards away, and he looks to the linesman on the halfway line to decide if it's a throw or a corner! Twice he waved play on for hand balls then gave them because the crowd was going nuts. Absolute joke of a ref all night. Hence i can see why it was given and we got one early in the 2nd which was even more dubious. More worried about our defending of it.
