Forest Boozers

Recommended Posts

As per thread title...

Anyone recommend any boozers for away fans on Saturday?

Always used to go in the Larwood before the game, but heard it's not so away fan friendly these days

Is it best to stick to the city centre?

THANKS

Only ones you would look to avoid are those further down towards Trent Bridge, but most don't let away fans in anyway

Waterfront is always decent, but City Centre is full of decent boozers and you never get any football related bother.

Trent Bridge Inn is a very decent boozer and 2 minutes from the ground. We are heading there. You might need to split up to get in. Not in a relationship way, that's a bit too much.

A wetherspoons pub I believe

McDonalds near the away end for a vanilla milkshake?

Larwood and Voce is now home fans only unfortunately.

As you're coming by train I would suggest staying around the centre for a variety of choices.  West Bridgford is good for a variety of bars and pubs, but it's a 10 minute walk past the ground from the railway station so not ideal for you.

I wouldn't recommend Vulva's idea of the TBI to be honest.  Home fans only and a bit rough, particularly on match day.  The Riverbank used to be great but has recently closed down too
