ash60s
pleased for him, best game he's had in a long while 2 quality moments for me 1. That cross for Winnall 2. That slip late on flat on his back Hopefully some on here ease up on him
S63 Owl
Great cross for the goal, especially considering where he whipped it in from, was on a plate for Winnall. Deliveries like that with Rhodes, Hooper, Winnall and we will start seeing more score lines like tonight.
LiamK2292
That cross was on point. Well met by Winnall. It was fantastic to see, something we have missed for years. Deliveries like that into the box means goals. Strikers (and centre backs when attacking) live off good service. damianb1
Centre Fwds dream about crosses like that.
SiJ
More of the same please, Jack. I think we'd all forego a few defensive shortcomings for crosses and attacking play like that tonight. Excellent.
Guest Arnold
He just needs to improve his final ball. Great cross. Thats what winnall and Rhodes need.
mogbad
After what was probably his worst game for the club at Wigan, he's shown good character tonight to give what for me was his best performance this season. Hopefully give him confidence for the rest of the season.
gableratchet
Thought he was left a bit exposed at times with the Birmingham left winger (can't remember his name, but hhought he was brilliliant at taking players on and got a very good cross in him, just the type of player we need) but having said that I thought hre had a very good game for us tonight and the cross that led to Winnall's goal was absolutely brilliant (the sky sports co commentater said it was the best cross he'd seen this season, praise indeed). 19owl08
I've defended Hunt all season. We've never had strikers capable of taking the opportunity to score from early balls in. Tonight we had 2 & it gave Hunt massive confidence. From the very start he was looking for quick ball up to them instead of the usual holding on & losing it. Him & Fox with Lees & Loovens will be great going forward.
Greenhgate Owl
Been a massive critic of his,but that cross was sublime Beckham does that and sky would cream themselves . was a cracking ball, winnall couldn't miss, still suspect at defending tho Edited February 11, 2017 by Greenhgate Owl
Owl_in_Oz
I'm not a fan of his personally but that cross was absolutely world class. Fair play to him. If he keeps doing that then Rhodes and Winnall will have a field day.
DuttyTeabags
Hunt is a confidence player and some of the negative vibes from fans would have gotten to him. He's now put in a very good performance and hoping we see the best of him in the run in.
Ronnie Starling
What a cross. Let's hope he can build on this now. He knows what Rhodes is all about from their time together at Huddersfield.

sweetsheri
Good cross, rest of his game poor. Having said that he was left totally isolated, Wallace was clearly told to tuck in, which left a gaping hole on our right and hunt with 2 players to mark. We needed width
ANDY
That cross was world class. The sort of cross any striker thrives on. Had it been Bale crossing for Ronaldo the media would be creaming their pants over it.

Watched the highlights (after I got back) and Hinchliffe was absolutely raving about the ball in from Hunt It was a sublime ball in tbf and Winnall (who was excellent all night ) finally got that goal all his good play deserved.
