Winnall man of the match for me. Great headers and thoroughly deserved his goal. Looks like the perfect partner for Rhodes

Hutch was good without the ball but gave it away a lot more than usual. Not man of the match at all for me.

Sasso and Loovens joint man of the match tonight. Both were imperious.

Morgan Fox was excellent too, really pleased with him.

Also, thought both strikers worked their nads off.

Glenn Loovens for me.

1st half, constantly stepping out of the back line to make interceptions and breaking up Birmingham's play through the middle.

Birmingham looked decent down the left side - Keita in particular.

Confusing performance - great first opening 10 minutes by us, Brum came at us, we got a bit fortunate with a couple off the bar and both posts until we eventually got the 2nd.

Most pleasing thing about tonight was that in years gone by we'd have gone on to draw/lose that game whereas tonight we ended it as the strongest team by a long way.

Can always be better but what a massive 3 points again, 5 clean sheets in a row at home and puts it back on Norwich/Derby to get results - they'll crack before we do.

Exactly the right subs at the right time by CC - brilliant.

Interesting how people see the game differently. I thought Sasso looked decidedly shakey and nearly cost us on more than one occasion. Hutch for me was everywhere and an absolute stand out.

Thought he was the stand out player on the pitch by a country mile.

He played too deep and left Bannan exposed in midfield.

People (not me) moan about players passing back and sidewards, Hutch does this more than any other player.

And to say he was playing deep, Brum had possession and shots in the zone where he was playing; where Gardner was playing in behind their strikers.

He played a 7/10 for me, steady and made some blocks when required.

Football's all about opinions.

Hutch and Winnall, working hard all over the pitch. Really committed.

Thought Fessi was off and his deliveries in were wasteful, then he got subbed for Reach which was what I wanted. And a bit later when our midfield seemed to have evaporated,  I was happy we brought on Abdi for Bannan. Kept studying him on the pitch, he's calm, positioned well and makes clever passes when he gets the ball, one opening up for that pass through for Reach's goal. Hope we get to see Abdi play longer in the future.

Well done all the lads, even with a few with an off day we grind thru a tough opponent and end up with a strong 3-0 win and another clean sheet!
