He had to wait an eternity for the whistle as Brighton argued with the ref over positions of players on the edge of the 'area'. I said to my Son at the time he is going to miss it now! Morepork Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Not his best penalty but I'm pretty sure the commentator said he'd scored all of his previous 5 penalties (at which point he was doomed) if true I'd say 1 miss from 6 isn't too bad, certainly not worthy of some comments I've read. Thanks, I must have misheard it, I do clearly remember getting up and walking out of the room as he said it, muttering something along the lines of "well thats f****d that up then...."
