Mainsey
He is genuinely awful. Knockaert nut-megged him, sent him into next week for their first goal and made him look like a league two left-back all night. The thing is though, he has been like it all season but has gotten away with it purely by good fortune or by Loovens and Lees' good partnership. You're all crying out for a right back, but I'd rather see Palmer on the starting line-up any day than Pudil. He needs to learn that there is more to life for a left back than 4 days of space to the opposition ,no blocking of opposition crossing, poor crosses himself and the below par standards now that he has got himself a contract. No wonder Brighton spent 80% of their attack down our left/their right.
sam1
You're right. But my main issue is against any decent winger he needs 1 if not 2 players to help him keep tabs. How do we expect to go up if when we play decent teams our outlet for the counter has to track so far back he can touch the corner flag to help our inept left back. Get emmanuelson fit faking asap. bobbobbins
Really dipped in form this season. Got to be dropped. I'm fed up of Carlos saying Daniel is playing so well. Give it a rest Carlos mate. Better yet give fox a go or just put Reach back there with Fernando wide left.
Mr Farrell
Won't drop his favourites I'm afraid. Having a season of Beswetherwick proportions.
Guest Kagoshimaowl
I personally disagree. He hasn't been great this season but Pudil is a decent player. Is Morgan Fox good enough to step in anyway? If not we have to persevere with him.
Colin West's Quiff
I think he hasn't preformed as he did last season , also if carlos is happy with him how come he keeps getting LB's in . And the other question is why did we get Fox if he is not going to play .
aeroswfc
We were keeping clean sheets with him in side.
NOT jack whitham
Arsenal considered Morgan Fox at one point so i dont think he is going to be any worse than Pudil.
RobbieOwler
I agree, been shocking most of the season, was he even marking Knockaert? That goal was coming for ages before the first, he gave him all the space he needed to take advantage.
pride_of_the_road
Dont think it was Pudils fault for the first goal, we were pushing up and got caught on the break. AKs touch was sublime to keep the ball under control, 99/100 he doesnt control it that good.
Wednesday_Jack
Possibly the worst I've seen him tonight...his contribution was worse than poor
LoadABallacks
way off the pace compared to last season think he he could do with a rest. No real break being at the Euros. Edited January 21, 2017 by LoadABallacks
modboy
His form dipped late last season, no idea why we signed him ,especially for the fee suggested
Guest wilyfox
Doesn't look his old self at the moment. Maybe time for a breather, give Fox a runout. Pudil had a torrid time, albeit in difficult company.
leedsbornowl
replace him with fox
torryowl
we play with the 2 wingers inside so the full backs can get forward ,if the a mid fielder gives the ball away while the full backs are forward it's a bit much to expect to expect pudil to get back especially the speed brighton broke for the goal .....lets be fair as much as we all love him hutch was far more at fault for the 1st goal than pudil .once he dove in and missed the tackle we were always struggling ......pudil did have a difficult night but the left backs who play against brighton usually do . Beholder
I agree but taking him off last night was our undoing.
Road Runner
He needs a 3 week break away to relax and recharge. Long season last year and ended with play offs. Straight to Euros then straight back here. Play fox there, but I have a feeling we won't see fox for quite a while.
Owl999
He hardly played in the Euros !!! Anyway leave him alone he said himself the fans were expecting too much !!!!
Tamworthowl
He has been disappointing for much of the season, but he is getting more than his fair share of blame. He was nut megged. So was Forestieri. He was at fault for the first goal. Partly. We were attacking, so was Pudil. We lost possession. Hutch had a chance to hold up the break, but decided to go to ground with a mistimed tackle. At that point we were in trouble. Westwood could have recovered the situation. He didn't. Pudil was a minor culprit. Second minute: Pudil was skinned by Knockeart. But Reach was on the wrong side. Against quality wingers, fullbacks need a second defender, Reach gave little or no support to Pudil. Pudil was off the field when second goal was scored, when half the team lost it. Surely he escapes criticism for that last 15 minutes when we went from matching top of the table team to being a bunch of idiots. And in terms of "Idiot of the Match": before naming Pudil, I give you, Hutchinson, Fletcher, Reach, and to a lesser extent, Forestieri, McManaman. Pudil wasn't good, but he was a long long way from being the worst performer.
