CE-Owl
I always thought Dave Jones appeared tired towards the end - tired, fearful and running out of ideas in the Championship pressure cooker. Although we've made great strides, the same tendencies are emerging...

nevthelodgemoorowl
No .... Our post match synopsis could have been, indeed should have been, so different tonight. Nando had a 5/5 pen rating before tonights aberration, Which incidentally should have been a retake. Then so unlucky with the follow up which was a great save rather than a missed sitter. We were on the front foot and beginning to dominate and obviously after the sending off that domination grew. Their winner was the second preventable goal we conceded. Carlos had a game plan that worked well but the aberration that occurred out on the pitch was a 20/1 shot. That's why we are all so P'd off. Discipline has to be attended to on the pitch. You don't get mad you get even. Of course Carlos is a very erudite man he is aware that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. He will handle this set back and the players and the team will come back stronger and more competitive.

MysticOwl
Nonsense, Carlos was hurting tonight. He is an Owl! Jones was just doing a job.
BullitsAA
Fessi could have done better with that followup it actually fell quite favourably for him. The keeper was 100% off his line, should have been a re-take by letter of law. Dave Jones comparison entirely unfounded.
Mr Farrell
Nowhere near as bad as Demolition Dave. Must admit though he does seem obsessed with defensive tactics/pressing and has forgotten you need to attack and score goals to win games.
