Best news so far in Jan window

Recommended Posts

It is a long way from the days of being excited by the signing of Clinton Morrison but what is your thoughts on the best news so far? Fessi or Hutch contracts? Signing Winnall? Obviously a bit early to judge Winnall but promising start and has some pedigree. Fessi back on song would be massive and Hutch is just the beating heart and one who could step up to Premier league imo. If it is too hard to call then simply sit back and bask in the fact that it is even a discussion point. Add to it a Hourihane signing this week or beating Brighton or keeping Hirst with Everton on the prowl... Let the good times roll!

Early business in bodes well. 3 players in by mid-January is fantastic. Can't remember us acting that swiftly since Sturrocko signed Burton and Tudgay 11yrs ago.

this. When was the last time we had a deal agreed and signed before the window even opened?

Just been reading Barnsley's take on the Winalot deal. They reckon it was £700 K plus add-ons, rising to £2 million. In the verbal to-ing and fro-ing it came out that Wood at Leeds is on a "meager" £17K a week... He's got as many goals as Fessi, Fletcher and Hooper, who're grossing a combined wage of £100K a week.

Will be even better if the Vile Grunters keep up with their end of season tradition of blowing Promotion in a very poor L1.lolgarymegson:tango::manager:

Who would you rather be in a Wednesday shirt? And don't worry about the wages, we don't pay em.

Right.

So what's the best thing that's happened in the January windows so far?
