People say he not ready for the first team but when you think about it marcos rashford wasn't ready either for Man U but look how he doing, u won't know till you try

I've heard from a good source, a Man United supporting mate who is very well connected to the club, that Marcus Rashford is in fact a totally different person to George Hirst

I hope he is because Hirst looks a talent. If Lonchar is better then we're all laughing.

The two of them work together almost perfectly. Both of them are real talents, I wouldn't be surprised if Lonchar gets international recognition pretty soon.

It's true that we may potentially over rate Hirst jnr because of who is dad is/was.

He's also been playing for England at U17/U18 level, 12 games, scored 6. That isn't because we over rate him, it's because he is a top talent in his age group in England.

If we are offered £1m+ to sell him there is no way we should even consider it. £1m won't buy much and we don't need the money. It's always a gamble with young players but we should hang on to him. He could be our future.

Much better for his progress to stay with us, if he goes to a top club he could get lost in the system. At Hillsborough there are 25,000 fans making sure he gets every opportunity to progress.

I think there was a rule change where Prem clubs could raid EFL clubs academies and the fee is fixed depending on how long a young player has been at the club.

Arsenal talk about it in this article:

That's right but Hirst has signed a pro deal now.

The reality of it is that he would probably be gone if he hadn't signed the deal as his  value would be next to nothing. (Around £250k)

Has Lonchar been offered a pro contract?

Sounds like we need to protect our investment here too...

To the fans who have seen him play in your judgement would you rate him as a good prospect if his name was Smith?

Genuine question.

Are you saying that he is Mark Smiths son not David Hirsts? Surely Wednesday would have had a paternity test done by now to clear up this question? Heads should roll, sort it out FFS Wednesday!

the lad should stay where he is and learn the trade and relish the fact that he got a chance to be part of team his dad played for.many would give their right arm to be in that position .That said if he only got the chance because of his name then that will be found out in the long run ,any way whatever happens good luck to him ,

That's a bold statement
