Hutchinson immense as ever. Did you notice how he made sure Pearson knew who was boss. Think that was one for Nando.

Westwood - 8 - Kept us in the game with some great saves

Palmer - 6 - Didnt think he was too bad today, handled McGeady well and was a strange sub unless hes took a knock.

Loovens - 7 - Quality again today, struggled with the pace of Prestons strikers though

Lees - 7 - Same as above

Pudil - 5 - Couldn't cross and struggled with the basics today.

Wallace - 5 - Didn't do much

Bannan - 6 - Not his best performance but was far from his worst

Hutchinson - 8.1 - Quality again today, just a tiny bit better than Westwood

Reach - 3 - Think a 3 is being positive for him and he got 2 marks for scoring the equaliser

Fletcher - 2 - Did nothing of note all game

Nuhiu - 2 - Same as above

 

Jones - 4 - bog standard, doesn't look a better player than Alex Lopez

Hunt - 1 - Garbage as always and was at fault for the goal

Joao - 2 - Didn't do much like the rest of our strikers

Hutch or Westwood. But I went for Bannan purely because he instigated the equaliser, and he did put in a right shift

Hutch for that utterly heroic tackle in last 10min and then making himself a proper nuisance in that scrum at the end so the ball eventually dropped to Reach.

 

Loovens and Westwood a close second for me. Loovens unusually physical but very clean with it, was nice to see. Westwood just reliable as always.

 

Most disappointed with Hunt's awareness and positioning for their goal, Lees getting a nark on with the midfield a couple of times (although fair enough in a way), and a general lack of ideas going forward. Fletcher did well not to get really wound up, he was getting nothing and working his backside off for it. Missed Lee today as much as FF, IMO.

Hutchinson for me,  didn't do much wrong and that tackle swings it for me. Reach second for the goal.

 

Apart from that they were all off the pace today and couldn't string any passes together. Joao was better than recently without looking likely to score.

Jones - Steadied us, made some key tackles and generally had v good distribution

Hutch was class again. That tackle with 5 minutes to go was outstanding.

Palmer 4 abysmal. Poor passing. Always looking to go backwards.

 

Lees 6 Did nothing wrong really.

Loovens 6 same old same old.

Pudil 4 Awful again.

Bannan 3 Looked like he didn't want to play.

Hutchinson 7 mom by a mile.

Reach 5 Really really poor but gets an extra 1 cus he scored.

Wallace 4 CROSS THE BLOODY BALL.

Fletcher 6 Kept trying, tidy on the ball.

Nuhiu 4 If I was his size I'd be a reyt player. Tidy in posession but poor as a striker.

Joao 6 Looked lively. Standard Joao match.

Jones 5 Mr average.

Hunt 4 Looks a shadow of himself from last season.

 

Overall, yet again Carlos struggles against so called lesser team. The whole team were poor today, couldn't get their game going. Credit to Reach for trying right to the end but make no mistake we were dire today and got away with a point. Let's hope we are better on Monday as the big crowd won't like another performance like that.

Agree about the Hunt substitution.

 

 

It was a pointless waste of a sub and added nothing. In fact it made us worse because it released Mcgeady.

 

Really don't understand what Carlos sees in him.

Westwood-7 . played well, couldnt do anything about the goal

Pudil- 5. poor performance again. very poor crossing today.

Loovens- 6. always calm and in the right place

Lees - 6. not in his best form but still easily one of the best english centre backs.

Palmer 5.5. not a bad performance but had very little impact

Hutchinson 8. what a guy. was everywhere. amazing last ditch tackle to prevent a second goal and it was great to see him stood over pearson fuming with his fists clenched and a crazy look in his eye.

Bannan 6. was better today but played far too deep

Wallace 5 not involved enough. a couple of good touches and dribbles on the wing but no final ball.

Reach 5.5 played out of position in the second half and looked out of sorts in the middle. first half he put in a decent shift from the wing. thank god someone realised the   ball just needed smashing in at the end

Nuhiu-5.5. played ok. treated unfairly by the ref, didnt link up with fletcher well. hes a magnet for defenders though and we missed him when he got taken off.

Fletcher-5.5. doesnt look 100% fit and didnt play particularly well. lots of misplaced passes. still we would have been more ragged without him.

 

Jones-5 very little input on the game. couple of tackles but gave the ball away a couple of times too.

Hunt- 4 bad positional play, maybe partially responsible for their goal. not much going forwards.

Joao- 5. one good touch and pass to set up a chance. other than that gave the ball away a little too easily but was on too late to really give him a rating

 

Hutchinson was obviously man of the match again
