I appreciate what he's done for us during the time he's been here. In many ways he's similar to Semedo where he's done his bit for the club but as it's progressed and better players have come into the club he's finding his influence and abilities surplus to requirements which is a shame but that's the price of progress. In two or three years time they're might be players who are seen as invaluable now who may be in the position Nuhiu finds himself in now. I think Atdhe will remain at the club until the end of the season but I think he'll move on in the summer. Somewhere along the line we'll need four or five strikers in the squad that can score 12-20 goals a season, obviously easier said than done within a budget.

"Why is he still here"?

Theyve explained that previously, it's because he's huge and awkward. Something different to bring on for a few minutes. We don't rely on him for goals. If he wants regular football he should leave. 1 goal in 50 appearances, most of these appearances are about 10 mins maximum.

He was in the side today because it was a physical game and the alternative was Hirst and Joao who has been flakey in recent games. Not ideal by any stretch, but your eyes are painted on if you are singling him out for criticism today, even Jordan Rhodes would have just been stood hands on hips wondering when he was going to get a sniff.

Its just that people have missed slagging him off and have had a fresh opportunity to do so. Suggesting he doesn't score many goals isn't anything the club isn't aware of.

The bloke is flipping useless.

My grandad would be able to give more of a threat up front.

The day he gets sold/ released should be a national celebration

blokes being stealing a living his whole football career

Watched the game on a stream so will certainly bow to anybody who was at Preston in terms of detailed comment watching the match live is the only way to see the full picture.

We were utterly dominated today by a better team in all areas. Fletcher tried but couldn't make any impact and along with Dave they were isolated and ineffective and both found it too much to deal with.

But let's be clear when rogering Nuhiu into la la land he was only playing because over the last few games Joao has been incapable of holding the ball up, linking play or making any positive contribution, in short he was in cos Joao was deemed rightly not up to it. Hooper and FF were badly missed and would be in any decent team imo. Quicker they're back the better.

And that was a lucky deflected goal. Just like one of the Reading ones.  The defence is fine as a 4.  Yes, the individuals could be better but they are playing well as a unit!

There's a reason why you've amassed -397 rep.  Can you understand why?
