@owlstalk
Keep hearing talk of SWFC having undroppable players in our squad who seem to get a starting place in the team no matter what their form is. Doesn't sit right with me yet and doesn't seem to be Carlos' style and way of working Be interested in hearing who these players are? And why people think they're undroppable. aeroswfc
All players should be droppable. Edited November 18, 2016 by aeroswfc
Ash77
Was wallace and may be again but is now pudil, bannan & lees. Would give urby or bannan a go at lb, loovens with hutch and fessi or buckley right mid
ArmchairOwl
Carlos made a point of having two players for each position so I think it's more a case of being rotated than being dropped.

Mr Hooper
No one should be undroppable. BUT....Fessi should start more or less every game, we've seen what he can do, he can change a game by himself. Unless he's in the worst form of his life and just cant put a run together obviously. torryowl
every single one of them will be left out at some stage this season so the answer is no one ......
Ash77
Just now, David1867 said: Banan at left back? klopp a world class manager plays a right footed midfielder in milner left back rather than his out of form/unrated recognised left back moreno, theyre top of prem. Warhurst played well as striker, hirst as keeper, i just think pudil runs so slow like hes pooed himself so would be prepared to try something new. Be like a wing back anyway and would open right mid to some pace in fessi or buckley, not sure how urby could be worse than pudil either unless hes on 40 fags a day

pazowl55
From what I have seen we are definitely a poorer side when Westwood, Lees, Lee and Forestieri aren't in it.
Lombardo
avoid dropping the fragile players....Good job we dont have any orientals players like Ming Vase.

Holmowl
"Undropable" has become one of the several cliches used on here when things are going badly. What it actually means is that Carlos picks a player that some vociferous fans disagree with. Last year Wallace, this year Bannan. Wallace is the perfect case. Last year Carlos was criticised by many for picking Wallace week in week out. Yet in our closing league matches he did more than almost anyone to drag us over the line, and was our most effective player v Brighton. This season several players have taken his position and largely been very poor.

Liverpool are top of the league because of their attacking play not their LB. Id rather reach or urby play there.

I can understand him being in the team. If is game is off he can still put in a peach of a free-kick and change the game. Now he has been ousted by Reach, who embodies the whole team; hes waiting for some un namable event before he starts playing to full potential. Not seen urby but if he can run quicker than pudil would start him, pudil ok as back up but worrying against pace, against aluko at fulham we may be reminded again unfortunately
