They are in turmoil and we should take advantage like they all did to us when we were in the poo

Pereira was easily Forest's best player at Hillsborough, scared our defence to death whenever he ran at them.

Had a peek at Nixon's column in the paper, says Villa have put McCormack (and Jordan Ayew) up for sale in order to raise funds for Rhodes and Bree.

Also reckons Wolves are after Swansea left back Stephen Kingsley.

According to Nixon, Birmingham are after Johnny Russell and Wolves are in for Ben Marshall again. Still desperately hope we gatecrash the deal for Marshall.

Johnny Russell is a player iv always liked. Think he'll be a great signing for the Brummies.

Ben Marshall ?  Don't see what he would offer us at all , average player at best if am honest and we've got more than enough options out wide

We need Marshall now he's converted to right back yes. We're quite alright for wingers but right back is a position where we're still going along with two players who are average at best, because the end product just isn't there. Marshall's end product is consistently excellent and he's another one like Hourihane and Winnall who's contract is up at the end of the season, so a bid of about £1.5 million is all it will take to tempt Blackburn.

How good is he at defending though?

For me, Marshall is a winger. Maybe a wing back in a back 5, but i'd have to be convinced that he can be a top right back.

I haven't seen much of him at right back but the Blackburn fans seem to rate him - and I wouldn't describe Palmer or Hunt's defending as any better than average, so imo Marshall would be an upgrade purely for his vastly increased attacking ability.

Agree he has the end product, which is something Plamer and Hunt sorely lack.

At home whoever is right back virtually plays right midfielder anyway. so a specialist in that wingback/midfield position wouldnt go a miss although it's not a priority at this minute.
