Hawkinsfootballboots
I've just renewed mine and my 3 kids season tickets for net year but as i'm taking my 4 year old to games net year, we have moved from the North to the Grandstand. Anyone use the Grandstand and if so, whats it like?

Guest
If you've got young uns it's ideal, friends I know who use it and take kids have nowt but good things to say is Ozzie owl club still on go ? Hawkinsfootballboots
Took my youngest to the Fulham game but used one of our spare season tickets in the North. It was too busy for him and getting out of the stadium was a nightmare hence the change of stands. I've never sat in the South or the Grandstand and I know its the more expensive area of the ground but as i'm Military, I get a Military discount for season tickets so it cost me £570 for 5 tickets in there. SHUowl
Best matchday in the ground. But you can hear a pin drop so I'm out.
BIG D
Just moving into the North after 10 years up there because my seat is part of the new VIP area. I've said before, I had a fantastic view on the front row up there but I'm not keen on it when you go further back. I never found the atmosphere a problem, if it's a decent game then it's fine if it's not the rest of the ground is usually dead anyway.
MallorcaOwl
only sat there twice, a bit remote from the play for me.
the_forgotten_city
Great view, best facilities in the ground, no bell ends. Downside is the long haul up and down the steps and not as much atmosphere. On the rare occasion there is one
vulva
Too far away. Like watching a game of Sensible Soccer through the neighbours front window.

vontemp
Best place in the ground IMO, brilliant view and loads of leg room. Had a season ticket on the North for years but I'm too old for all that effing and jeffing now.
Baldrick
Excellent views if you are on the front few rows Further back you are the rest of the ground is obscured by the steep roof I like to see the other stands, it helps pass the time people watching when the game is dire ! Cambs Owl
I take my grandson there and he loves it. Plenty of leg room and a clear view for little ones. It's haul getting up there but I will continue to choose it. Good view with no standing up and down to see what's going on.
meggoisgod
Best place for young kids but my god the atmosphere is flatter than you could ever imagine
FreshOwl
Had a s/t up there for over 10 years, best view in the ground. No atmosphere though

Owl999
Can be a little quiet atmosphere wise but there isn't a deal of atmosphere anywhere in the ground during low attendance games, best view, great leg room and best concourse facilities, bars, food and toilets etc, been taking my daughter who is now 7 since she was 3, sat with her in the South and North but the Grandstand is the best for kids . VintageOwl
The front row has an excellent view and no worse than the top of the North & the most legroom in the ground, no atmosphere but no plonkers either, the catering is better but them steps, 91 I think although, if you're into fitness training , does anyone know if there's a lift?
