Ronnie Starling
yet theyl still get investment before us...... What like they did with Bates and then with GFH? Well they are welcome to it :danny-wilson:
just visiting
The fact you had to defer wages should raise alarm bells enough that and 6M pumped in by Cellino, no official statement needed. A potential buyer who has links to Bates. Keep burying your head in the sand fella, it suits you best. Ah, you mean the Malaysian's who were shown around Thorpe Arch and Elland Road yesterday. The links are actually with Shaun Harvey, going back to when the casino licence was being bid for. Nett wealth of £7b, if you believe all you read. I don't as my heads usually somewhere else. latemodelchild
So Leeds didn't do this : "Future income from two years of season tickets and five years of catering profits has been mortgaged" And the 3rd point is in the public domain. I'd more concerned with my club and todays FL statement than spending time on another clubs forum. The other stuff i have isn't for public consumption and I know that sounds like i'm shying away but I am not revealing what I've been told on a public messageboard. What statement is due? owls maniac
If our matchday income is so un-workable then why would we be putting kids for a quid on against Blackburn? Doesn't really make sense to me.

Chris E
Just-visiting, I would say that sheffield is a true footballing city. Wouldn't you? The birth place of football. The oldest football club in the world (All be it a semi-pro club). The oldest football ground in the world. (Sandygate-Hallam f.c.). Real madrid and inter milan have sent teams over in the last few years to play against the oldest club in the world. The oldest derby in the world. Sheffield f.c. -v- hallam. Sheffield wednesday in the top 3 of oldest clubs. Plus even though I don't want to even mention there name. Our scummy neighbours from across the city are one of the founding members of the football league. Some of the members of sheffield f.c. include, leonart johansen ( uefa president) sven goran erikson, amongst many others. So if you want to thank anyone for the beautiful game you watch (may be not so beautiful at elland rd at moment) Then thank a true footballing city. Sheffield!!! I thought to myself when I read this that just visiting would ignore it. He has done.

latemodelchild
Re Cellino's appeal.Ah, thought you meant a statement about us, got worried for a bit. He could end up in charge I reckon. The FA will cave in or he'll do it via someone else no doubt.

I also think he may get the FL's decision reversed, then if it all goes pear shaped the FL can say we told you so. Personally, I like the guy and think he'll be good for us. Ha ha you do make me chuckle, whilst it remains an 'independent' QC who will hear the appeal the FL can then appeal if they think he's ruling incorrectly. PS he's been used by the FL plenty of times previously....more often than not in their favour. As for Cellino, given Leeds history of being above board and wholesome he's a good fit.
