Look at this goals he has scored for us, how many of those are from getting the ball out wide and cutting in? Very very few.

He scores by being in and around the box and us getting the ball to him in the box.

 

Not sure why you would want to play him out wide when we have other players who are natural wingers, Fletcher needs a quick striker to compliment his ability to flick on and hold up the ball, Hooper can't do that, FF can.

 

He he scored about one in four as a forward for Watford in the Championship. Same again last year for example, scoring 7 in 31 as a forward (8 in 10 from wide).

 

Hooper has scored about one in two in the Championship in his last 3 seasons.

Hooper will do until we get Rhodes.

Really don't like us playing 2 strikers from the beginning, with Wallace, Bannan, Lee and Fessi - we have a very small, lightweight midfield. 

 

Reach-Jones-Abdi-Buckley might work to incorporate 2 strikers but nobody would drop Lee/Bannan/Fessi at the min.
