I think mrs Fessi has been on here and voted, he was in no way MotM. 

 

Some ratings on here too are wide of mark, thought quite a few of our players played well and I'd like to see very similar team next week. 

 

Obviously Lee was best player, but also mentions to Fletcher, Hutch, Hunt and Hooper (despite not scoring I thought hooper all round play was pretty good today).

First full game i've seen all season but our issues were glaring - just like a couple of misses.

 

Westwood = 7 - Didn't look assured at times but saved us on a couple of occasions.

Hunt - 8 - Our best player first half. A little anonymous second half as we went down the left far more.

Hutchinson = 7 - Solid game but has the skills to be a bit more dynamic passing forward.

Lees = 6 - Just lacking something at the moment but wasn't well.

Reach = 4 - Not a left back. Got skinned way too easily. Underwhelmed so far and looks like beating a man is not his go.

Wallace = 7 - Found acres of space first half and was very industrious. Not nearly as involved second half. 

Bannan = 5 -  Thought he was the problem first half when he gave it away far too easily. Not convinced the quarter back role is ideal.

Lee = 9 - First name on the sheet and wish we had five of him. Not just the goals but he was the main energy in the first half. Perpetual motion.

Forestieri = 7 - Second worse miss of the season but he was charging in at pace. Frustrating at times but worked hard and looked the main danger.

Fletcher = 6 - Just a pass, nothing really happened for him but was vital in the winner.

Hooper = 8 Thought he was excellent and a goal would have been tidy and hopefully he'll go on a run soon.

 

Loovens = 8 - Really solid for the time he was on.

Abdi = 5 = Looks a bit clueless and lacking confidence. He's a worry but we need him to come good.

Nuhui = 7 - He's not getting any quicker but things seem to happened with him on the pitch. Defenders suddenly get skittish.

 

Overall we are not quite clicking and look predictable at times. Teams are better prepared against us and tactically have a better idea of how CC wants us to play.

 

We can be better - and need to be.

Forestieri 5 not his greatest game although signs late on that he was getting there

 

Fletcher 8 how we've missed a player like him, needs. A finisher in next to him

Hooper 7 nothing came off but thought looked alert 

 

Loovens 7

Abdi 5 lacking something, confidence, guts, fitness ?? 

Nuhiu 7 panto villan on here but more than capable footballer.

Westwood - 7  - looked at fault for the goal but I've heard it got a deflection off Bannan - a couple of crucial saves

Hunt - 7 - had his best game for quite a while

Lees - 6 - solid enough

Hutchinson - 7 - did well against Velios and Bendtner

Reach - 7 - got skinned by Caryol a couple of times but was a bit isloated

Wallace - 6 - thought he did OK today. Nothing spectacular.

Bannan - 6 - not at his best today, especially when they played 5 in midfield first half

Lee - 9 - covered every blade of grass. Tireless performance and rewarded with the goals.

Forestieri - 6 - tried hard but had one of those days where nothing comes off for him

Hooper - 6 - some nice touches around the edge of the box but lacks a bit of pace to play alongside Fletcher

Fletcher - 7 - dominant in the air again and a proper number 9 (er... number 6)

 

Loovens - 8- solid half and if he made a mistake I didn't see one

Abdi - 7 - so rarely gives the ball away but seems to be a better version of Darren Potter at times

Nuhiu - not on long enough but but himself about and rattled them a bit

Phew. Didn't see that winner coming.

 

Westy 7 one great save. Nothing he could do with their goal.

 

Hunt 7 mixed bag of good and wasteful

Lees 6

Hutch 7

Reach 6 poor defensively, couple of dangerous crosses

 

Wallace 5 thought he was poor and surprised he stayed on

Bannan 6 wasted the ball Unusually

Lee truly outstanding 10. What a performance

FF 5 could barely find a blue shirt today

 

Hooper 7 looked sharp and linked up really well

Fletcher 7 gave heart and soul. Great pull back for Lee

 

Loovens 7 gave us great strength

Abdi 6 too keen to pass back or sideways. 

Nuhiu 7 caused them trouble, won headers and tackles

Lee obviously, reach did well too. A word on fessi. Missed a sitter, wasn't at his best today but still played his part. Even messi has his off days. Good performance today from the owls, went down to a fluke. But great character and fight to take the points. 3 points off third. Looking good for me. UTO
