Very poor performance, we can't keep giving teams a 1-0 headstart and not turn up for the 1st half it will cost us against a good team.

Westwood: 7 - Crucial save to keep us in it.

Hunt: 7 - Getting better.

Lees: 5 - A shadow of his former self.

Hutch: 7 - Solid as always. Great "tackle" at the end before the goal.

Reach: 5 - Got caught out way too easily. Not a LB.

Wallace: 5 - Frustrating and inconsistent showing.

Lee: 9 - Fantastic. Can't question his importance to the team.

Bannan: 6 - Tried the same thing, too many stray passes and expected a different result (Insanity!)

FF: 6 - Not his day.

Hooper: 6 - Still looks overweight. Do want the partnership with Fletcher to work long term.

Fletcher: 7 - Dominated the air as per.

Strange old game really. Dominated again. Missed key opportunities, again. Lost a goal, and had to huff and puff to win the game, again,

I thought we played OK yesterday, and had we gone in at half time 0-0, and not condeded a remarkably flukey goal, there wouldn't have been too many groans. But, that fickle football fans for you.

I think Carlos is getting close to knowing what his best side is, and it's clear that our philosophy and style of play is imposed on our opponents every single game, especially at home. Forestieri wasn't firing on all cylinders, but I thought Hooper & Fletcher were very good again. Hooper's link up play in particular, was flawless.

Westwood - 7 - Couldn't do anything with the goal, key save for Velios' header, and involved in build up to our 2nd goal.

Hunt - 6 - Started off well, but his attacking play declined, and he seemed very quiet in the 2nd half.

Lees - 5 - Looked off pace, and was once again, given a torrid time against a solo striker.

Hutchinson - 7 - Looked good again yesterday. Stepped up and bossed the striker (especially Bendtner) once Lees went off.

Reach - 6 - Decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. Looked to struggle defensively at times against Carayol, but a good attacking option to have from left back.

Bannan - 6 - Dictated the game, everything, once again, went through him. But struggled with his range and final ball at times.

Lee - 8 - I keep saying it, but he's one of the most underrated players we've got, and perhaps in the Championship. He's our heartbeat.

Wallace - 6 - Like Hunt, started well...then got further and further towards the middle, so we were starved of width. Can't understand playing Wallace as a central midfielder when we revert to the diamond, when we have Abdi on the bench.

Forestieri - 6 - Just didn't work for him today. Should've scored in first half, but energetic and always wanting the ball as usual.

Hooper - 7.5 - His link up play and all round game was superb. Always knows what pass is on. Could've done better with a chance in 2nd half, but it's encouraging we're starting to see the best of him.

Fletcher - 7 - He and Hooper forming a very good partnership. Always seems one step ahead of play.

Reach messed up for the goal but the quality all comes down the left now, following his arrival.

On left wing, he'll be excellent.

Massively overrating Hooper's performance, again. We take him off the pitch and win, again.

And he and Fletcher are not forming a very good partnership. You want them to so you're exaggerating everything they do while on the pitch together.

Fletcher needs a different partner. We look a much better team when those 2 are not playing alongside each other. And our results reflect that.

Not only do I want them to form a good partnership, I really think we need them to. We need their goals AND Fessi's goals if we are going to score even as many as last year.

Be patient. They have partnered each other for less than the equivalent of three matches.

We'll be fine for goals. Our squad is much stronger than last season, attacking wise.

We don't need Hooper and Fletcher to form a partnership any more than anything else.

6 = Hunt Lees Hutch Wallace Bazza Abdi Loovens Nuhiu

7 = Westwood Reach Fessi Fletch Hoops

9 = Lee

Don't lose sight of the fact that we are......

1point off play-off positions

8points off relegation positions

Its early we got more gears yet, onwards and upwards

Many "big" clubs would envy our position

Except we don't, and they don't. But don't let that stop you.

All you do is hunt for posts, God forbid praising Hooper (seen as though you've got bored of Nuhiu), seriously bore off.

I don't mind debate. But you can't have debates with people, who can't get past their own negative fascination with certain players.

Keep stalking any poster who dare say something positive...if that's what makes you happy though.

Westwood 7

Hunt 6 Good going forward in the first half, felt he drifted out of it second half.

Lees 5

Hutchinson 7

Reach 6 - Targeted in the first half, but had little protection. Second half thought he was much more of a danger going forward.

Wallace 6 Drifts in and out, much like the majority of his games.

Lee 8

Bannan 6 Not his best game, fully involved but some of his longer passes seemed off.

Forestieri 6 Kept going, but not his day.

Fletcher 7

Hooper 7 Good link up play and movement. Should have at least got his first half chance on target.

Yet another game where there was only one pbvious winner and again not just becauase of the goals, but because of everything else he did on top of having to score the goals too. Certain players would possibly think that way, but Kieran is quite happy to move all around the pitch helping everybody out and then pop up in the box at exactly the right time and place to score.

I was gutted for Lee after the Bristol match where Bannan stormed the MOM on here, for what I could only put down to the fact that everybody knows his song and not the Kieran Lee one.

Well done Lee, keep this up and you will be playing for England next.
