prowl
"Carvalhal says his team back to their best today, suggesting it could be a turning point like Burnley away last season". According to Staton I think there might be a few who disagree.
s6 owl
Back to our best would have been a convincing 5-0 win like it should have been without any stupid errors. But that's probably wishful thinking
Owls77
What is a concern is lack of goals!

gurujuan
We were much better today, and better without Abdi in the starting line up. Not sure you could say we were back to our best, and if we were, why didn't we beat Brentford. No, we were much better, but still plenty of work to be done, in my opinion Edited August 27, 2016 by gurujuan
iCantThinkofaName
1st half was best I've seen for a while. 2nd half (until the end) was just like leeds/Burton. Wouldn't say it's our best, but it's definitely better than the last few games
Beholder
Sounds like Jones had an excellent game.

acquiescefc
60% possession away from home 19 shots Compared to L**ds id say its a start. BUt no, we're expected to win 5-0 like we did last season..oh wait.
WalthamOwl
Wouldn't say we were back to our best, if we were back to our best we would have won.
Tommo_
10 shots on target is hardly a terrible stat, it only backs Carlos' statement that we played well. However, we should have converted them. But still, sounds like a return to form. A very unfortunate goal separated us from taking 3 points home
bradowl
Didn't go but listening to commentary and feed back from those who went it look like we should have won comfortably. Bad misses, bad luck and their goalkeeper having a blinder stopped us winning I hear. Hopefully international break will do us good and we can then bounce back with 2 wins in the home games coming up.
PortlandOwl
Should have been over by half time. Their keeper had a blinder to be fair. We'll be OK if we continue to play like that.

Still think we are looking at a top ten finish
casbahowl
The moment Keiron Lee went to right back and Abdi came on centre midfield we seemed to click. Absolutely the way forward.
F. Spiksley
Weren't there obviously but I'm more than happy with a point away. Stops any chance of rot. Away points are important. Forget bad luck and missed opportunties we created plenty. A good sign. Sterner tests to come. I liked CCs starting line up. Interesting. All to play for with forty odd games left. Season starts now as far as I'm concerned.
Mr. Chow
Lee for right back? back to his old position.
Stockyowl
their keeper pulled of 3 incredible saves, Joao's miss looked worse than Bus at Newcastle, first half played really well, lost our way in second half. Fluke goal fir them and then a storming finish. Showed character.
