Guest BRADFIELDOWLS
A settled side will be a knackered team post Easter. Think Brighton and Knockeart in play offs. Plus Carlos adapts each game to counter opposition - highlighted well at Blackburn and tomorrow when we'll win with a changed team. Most important Axis will be Fletch and Reach. Gonna be brilliant when they are closer together. And FF must get back to top form. 3- O Saturday, Owls.
beloved_aunt
I think the fact we've got four top strikers for this level (and Nuhiu as back up) is a positive sign. These options which allow CC to keep players fresh and on their toes is more important than just having a settled attack IMO. If no one scores 20 goals but all 4 get between 10-15 I'll be happy. Holmowl
Fletcher FF 183 Fletcher Joao 79 Fletcher Hooper 347 (6 goals) Fletcher Nuhiu 46 FF Hooper 40 Fletcher FF Hooper 64 (1 goal) Hooper Joao 75 Hooper Nuhiu 53 (2 goals) Fletcher lone striker 108 (3 goals) Fletcher FF Nuhiu 8 (1 goal) Makes me weep its so obvious. 990 minutes into the season (1/4 of the season) and he has played Hooper+Fletcher for one third of the time available. oldishowl
I expect this to continue. We have 3 good strikers who will continue to share the workload. It is hard work playing up front . As for the goal stats. As a bald stat they are irrelevant. No account of quality of opposition, how well the rest of our team played to create chances, whether we were home or away, what part of the game they played as we tend to change tactics towards the end of games if we need to we normally score more in the second half whoever is on the field
mozzy85
I'd be tempted to play Fletcher on Saturday as if we do decide to go lone striker than he is the man for that job. Have FF playing a free role behind with wallace and reach bombing forward. We could easily change it up second half if we wanted to nick it or needed goals to get back in the game by bringing on Hooper. I'll be glad when Joao is back though to give us a different option. areNOTwhatTHEYseem
After carefully studying these statistics, there can only be one conclusion: Nuhiu must play! Just look at those minutes per goal stats with the big man on the pitch... Fletcher FF Nuhiu - a goal for every 8 minutes played Hooper Nuhiu - a goal for every 29 minutes played Fletcher lone striker - a goal for every 36 minutes played Fletcher Hooper - a goal for every 58 minutes played Fletcher FF Hooper - a goal for every 64 minutes played FF Hooper - a goal for every 87 minutes played
