442. Who plays right?

Recommended Posts

FF Abdi Bannan Wallace for me. Can see Abdi not playing against Villa personally, probably for reasons of training and fitness, in which case Lee would be in. Whatever CC does, somebody will be disappointed at being left out. Thus it ever was

4-2-3-1

              Westood

Hunt    Lees   Hutchinson Pudil

             Lee   Bannan

   Matias   Abdi   Forestieri

               Fletcher

Thats probably our best side with fessi swapping with matias now and again

When attacking - 4-3-3

             Westwood

     Hunt Lees Hutch Pudil

          Lee       Bannan

                Abdi

    Hooper             Fessi

               Fletch

Lee and Bannan doing most of defensive midfield work.

Hooper, Abdi and Fessi playing off Fletch.

When attacking full backs bombing on for the width.

Can switch to 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 when defending. Both Abdi and Fessi do not mind chasing back.

Creaming in my pants just thinking about it. Need a new box of tissues.

Best solution I've seen to include our best 11 players.

We have got some serious options this season and it's going to be a real headache for Carlos.

Whichever formation we play there is goals in our team, plenty of creativity and hopefully another solid defence. For the first time in 25 years? We really do have an embarrassment of riches in our side.

im guessing the starting 11 against port vale might give something away regarding formations etc.

with the midfield and striking options we now have, after many years of distinct mediocity, two quality players in each position. This leads to a good debate about who starts and someone will inevitably end up being left out. The trick is for CC to make the right call and ensure he keeps everyone happy.

Probably not too far off with this.

Abdi will 100% be in the middle. Did Watford play with wingers?

Not sure about their formation through the season, but I certainly read about Abdi playing left mid and doing really well as he is good defensively and tracked back really well.

is hutch injured ?.......

Glenn Loovens and Hutch  are out plus they both will be in and out of the team like a yo-yo with injured back and so on I need somebody reliable in that position

Bannan?

Lee?

Abdi?

or Wallace?

It's a conundrum.

I'm thinking Bannan.

What you reckon?

With Hutch now a centre back I'm sensing this:

Westwood

Hunt, Lees, Hutch, Pudil

Matias, Abdi, Bannan, Forestieri,

Fletch, Hoops

Bench

Wallace, Lee, Jaoa, Loovens, Wildsmith, Nuhiu, Melo, Helan

Although Lee and Bannan to me are interchangable and can see Wallace and Lee starting as many games as Matias, Abdi, Bannan as the team is rotated and rested accordingly to maintain competition and peak fitness as is Cc's way as evident from last season.

doesnt work like that though does it ,your best 11 isnt always your best team .......i'm amazed that a lot would leave out wallace ,can understand if abdi is to play on the wing but if he isnt then wallace is the best we have .
