As per the last interview, gave the impression we won't be spending big money. Not that it matters as long as we strengthen what is already a decent squad. We don't have a left back at the club, and we're very light in the centre of defence. It could be that we've made a calculated decision, the money we might have been prepared to spend, wouldn't have enabled us to make much headway against those three sides with their spending power. Don't really have a problem with that, as the sort of spending we could maybe have stretched to, wouldn't have particularly enhanced our chances of an automatic. He's also come out and said he and his staff know what players he wants to bring in and are waiting for negotiations to progress. Like he said.
