wednesdayok Posted June 27, 2016 Share Posted June 27, 2016 as soon as this boring euro ends its back to proper football talk,lets see what carlos and the club does in bringing some proper reinforcments in .we obviously need to improve on the squad we had last season,matias was out injured for most of the season so came back not fully fit, and lucas joao lost his way in the last 2/3 of the season it was as if he lost interest.it was a good season not a great one,but i'm sure if we had a 3-4 players with that oomph factor i.e like Dunk Hendricks etc we could end up as champions. Apart from a couple of games on Saturday that were a bit negative I've enjoyed EURO 2016. Football almost every day and sometimes 3 a day when there is nowt for several months can only be a good thing for a football fan. We're all itching for the first match at Hillsborough to start again but at least the EUROS is a welcome distraction to nowt happening. Its like saying your,e only interested watching wednesday if theyr,e successfull. On the other point last season was great and we probably over achieved.
