Just listened to his interview on Skysports. He said he can take the chants about himself, he has for 12 years but an attack on his goal keeper is a disgrace and all L**ds fans should be banned from every ground in the country.... Well said Dave

he's fuming - the chants are getting to him now. DJ rightly let both barrels out. Leeds are scum, and have been for years - now sky pictures put the FA in a corner

He deserved a win too - it's hard on managers when their team has just been robbed of a dead cert penalty and could have been playing against 10 men.

As they say, the luck is against you when you're at the bottom, but we don't half get more than our share of crap refs.

It was only a point tonight but hopefully the team has turned a corner now.

Got a bit of confidence back, hopefully the team have too. And maybe, as was raised in another thread, tonight will be the game that brings everything together in the same way Yeovil did last year.

In a way, I'm hoping what has gone on tonight might spurr us on to f*cking storm everyone in our path.

Dave Jones should never have to listen to those vile chants. His father died knowing his son was subjected to that poo poo

And yet there are supposed Wednesday fans calling for his head. Wanting him sacked because he doesn't measure up to Megson. Because, despite going so long undefeated, and getting us promoted from a seemingly impossible position we went up. Yet we haven't won in a while and pigs squeal for his head. You might be Wednesday fans, but you're pigs to me

You're a roger ing joke. I'm as much embarrassed about you than I am about the Leeds scum.

I really hope he gets things right and that we dont let him go, hopefully a couple of strong results this coming week will get things going in the right direction.

Can't imagine what it must be like been subjected to chants like that. Disgusting.

Looking at the bigger picture though and although he has made mistakes I see some of the young lads like Corry and know we are moving forward. During a bad run you sometimes become close minded and forget these things. Tonight reminded me that DJ is a top boss at this level and no matter what happens this season I know that if we stick with him we will achieve what all Wednesdayites want us to achieve.

No it doesn't mate.

I'm totally embarrassed that Wednesday fans will lower themselves to sing about Leeds fans being stabbed by Galatassary fans.

To be honest, I'm stunned.

Tonight wasn't football. Wasn't rivalry. Pure hatred. Disgusting.

If true, that is disgusting.

However, the behaviour of Leeds fans cannot be excused and I'd say on the whole they embarrassed themselves much more than we did tonight.

Absolutely none,

There was statements from some scrubbers who had been influenced by a police "trawling" scheme, basically offering compensation to say you were molested, ( DJ used to work in care homes with young people if you didnt already know that )

There was so little evidence that it should never have got anywhere near court, but none of these so called victims actually turned up when it did, the whole thing was fabricated rubbish trying to lure a big name for a scandal, and the case was thrown out.

Only just found out about him working in care homes while I was searching for the book online. Cheers for the info mate, never really knew much about it and if there was any truth in it etc.

Dread to think what it must be like for Jones at games like this, subject to the abuse from 1000's of fans while he can do nothing but stand on the touchline hoping his team delivers.

Can't be easy but shows the measure of the man really, it'll nver fully go away and DJ knows that better than anybody, but he's clearly not the sort of bloke to let it beat him.

Definitely have a read of the book if you can get hold of it, it's not all just about the court case, some good stories from his football days and some good input from the family, decent read.

For what?

For saying Kirkland "went down like a ton of bricks"?

For saying the Leeds support "apart from one moron were excellent"?

If anything tonight finally proved once and for all that he isn't some colourful, comedy character for us all to chuckle at. He is a nasty, abysmal human being with a completely detached view of reality. Hope he rots in hell.

Detached?

For me he was pretty clear in damning the idiot who hit Kirkland. At the end of the day he's the Leeds boss, he's hardly likely to want to risk alienating his own fans, same way Dave Jones didn't mention the section of the North chanting about Leeds fans getting stabbed.

Although I will accept that he was out of order for saying that Kirkland when down like a ton of bricks, and he probably regrets it. The same way DJ probably regrets calling ALL Leeds fans vile animals.

No. Not having it. Sorry.

According to Warnock, the Leeds fans were ALL "excellent" with only ONE exception. He sent his players over to applaud them, such was the fabulous job they'd done of supporting their team. His "ton of bricks" comment was not spur of the moment, he'd already done other media interviews by that point and had plenty of time to compose and articulate his thoughts. It was said with a very clear, very deliberate agenda behind it.

So angry about this I physically cannot sleep. Don't remember the last time football made me feel this way. Probably never. I hope to God they don't get away with this.
