Talk about a team being on fire. They are just lucky they do not have a city rival matching them step by step
Or at all!

If they get promoted that means Antonio remains ours through the playoffs if needed, with a chance of signing him next year.

Good, well done Reading.

He stays regardless!

That read wrong, if they go up, he will be surpless to requirements. He stays regardless!
If they are fighting for the play offs and pick up a few niggling injuries he can be recalled.

EDIT - On now!
the BBC football website is an embarrassment now - took ages to update the Reading goasl and only just a few minutes ago updated the live table - i was wondering why everybody was saying that Reading were promoted...
Looks like big Sham is gonna have to win the play offs - best squad, biggest budget by a distance - well done!

Well done to them but I don't think they're that good of a team. They've gained momentum, that's all.
Just explained this to my wife, as her pupils are Reading fans.
No 'stars' just a good team.
They have had an amazing run.
Just shows what can be done.

No meek targets of 'good draws' or conceding late on in games.
Well done Reading, totally deserving promotion thanks to dominating the form table with utter confidence.

Watching that just makes me so jealous and envious of how much I want that at Wednesday.
I don't think I can take another season in League 1.

Got to say that ALF played his part scoring some crucial goals. Well done Alf congratulations Reading.

Looks like all of Reading is on the pitch!
Great scenes at the end with Mikele Leigertwood being crowd-surfed towards the tunnel.
Good luck to Reading, I hope they win the title.
Looks like big Sham is gonna have to win the play offs - best squad, biggest budget by a distance - well done!
Can't stand Alardyce - nothing but a fat, classless whinger.

As for Fat Sam, how on Earth have they not ran away with the league with that team?
Would love nothing better than to see the tvvat out on his arse at the end of the season. Shame because I have a lot of time for West Ham.

Totally agree if it comes off brilliant if it doesnt the lack of investment in a couple of quality players in the last transfer window maybe our downfall46 points from the last 17 games.

Don't want to change this into a thread re Le Fondre / Marshall.Yes there is i believe that side i know le fondre and marshall can you see a pattern emerging
I know for a fact Marshall and Le Fondre were offered A LOT more money for them teams than with us. Also, a chance to play at a higher level with better bonuses and a more solid future.
They did nothing wrong and in there situation i'd have done the same.

They always aim to recoup from player sales and spend less than they get in.
But it can't be done right?
Never get anywhere by selling your best players
Perhaps somebody needs to tell Brian McDermott and Chris Powell...
