Wasn't suggesting a 14 team top tier at all. Just let the top teams go and have maybe two leagues of 20 for the top two divisions and let's carry on. If Bournemouth are top then so what. Having Man City etc al winning everything is just boring and non- competitive.

Personally not bothered by this. Would like to see the so called big six form their own boring super league so we can all get on with proper football.

We have been a shambles, I agree. Not for the numbers though but for the quality. Last January we needed quality up front and didn't get anyone. We ended up in the play-offs and got away with it. Last summer we needed to recruit a goalscorer and signed Fletcher. We ended up in a complete mess and in a relegation fight with no chance of staying up. XM was sacked and we needed to rely on an 18 year old to be our main source of goals. It helped for a bit. This January, we needed goals and signed a player with a very poor record and got lucky for a short spell - partly helped by Poveda who is now injured. The story will continue until we sort out our recruitment which has been so scatterball with no real plan whatsoever. This is not just up top. When did we last sign a quality left-back or a permanent keeper? Shambles doesn't even begin to describe it.

This is right, there are often "spares" if you keep an eye out. Some people buy the tickets just for the points and sell 'em on. You obviously won't get the points if you do that but it would be a way to get to more games.

I did the same with the pause and it looks to me that the ball is in both hands as the forward stands up and inadvertently knocks it away. If so, the ref got it right.

I think it's probably the other way around and other clubs have been doing it long before us.
