  1. So sorry to read this. Always noticed his posts and a very valued member of the site. Rest in peace Andy, thoughts with all of you at this terrible time.
  2. Reading some of the constant posts criticising him at every opportunity even at times the way he speaks, the insitance that he couldn't win big games, looking for any opportunity to knock him was hard going at times. I nearly wavered after the away leg vs Peterborough I will admit it but getting the team to believe they could come back from that is incredible. Seeing the picture of him lifting the trophy with that big smile on his face is my favourite picture from yesterday. Thankyou Darren for all your hard work, you are a credit to Sheffield Wednesday.
  3. Ruined the atmosphere for me stopped the fans singing before the game like we did in 2016, the camera constantly on him. Not what I want from a football match..I'm obviously getting old.
  4. Othere teams going through a terrible run of no win in 4 would probably post on their forum whilst we were on our unbeaten run, why can't we have a young gem of a manager like Darren Moore. Football changes by game, especially in the current world where everything has to be perfect 100% of the time.
  5. I keep seeing this but not sure I agree with it, in that spell undefeated the one time we went behind and were losing at half time we came out 2nd half and smashed them 5-2. Losing 2 key players and a spell of 4 games in quick succession with an aging squad is what has caused this blip in my opinion.
  6. Apparently we are a league 1 winning team but they are championship ready and would finish higher than us in the championship. "We’re a championship ready team / squad, they’re a league 1 winning team / squad. If you put both of us straight into the championship now and didn’t allow any squad alterations, we’d finish much higher than them in the championship. But they’ve worked out how to get out of this league and built a squad to do just that. It’s great that we’re building for the future but we also need the players to get us into the championship first."
  7. That was meant to be my (badly written)point The annoying kid at school who likes to poo stir now has a platform to make money and a career out of. Plus we all secretly enjoy being angry sometimes.
  8. I am guessing you have the same condemnation of: The journalist who started all this with absolutely no evidence to back it up. The journalists who doubled down on the story using provocative words such as "crush", "central pen" fear without any evidence or investigation taking place. The daily mail reporter who took the clubs first statement to hammer the club further. All of the above unnecessarily bringing up the horrendous events of 89 for many people. Then the fans of other football clubs allover social media claiming nothing has ever been done to the stadium other than remove the fences Fans on social media and other journalists stating that the stand should be bulldozed At the end of the day rightly or wrongly some of our fans are very passionate about our club and take this quite personally. I'm personally not to fussed but what I don't like is a wider issue issue within society where people essentially just make money by taking something and blowing it out of all proportion to try and create division and rile people up, its just like that annoying person at school or at work who poo stirs for kicks. Social Media has a lot to answer for. Good for those who can turn a blind eye to it and that is sadly the only way this wouldn't happen anymore but for some people sadly it isn't as simple as just telling them to ignore it.
  9. Love a bit of sour grapes. We didn't timewaste as badly as the majority of teams who come to hillsborough, Wycombe were even timewasting when they were losing. They had no answer other than to throw themselves on the floor and hoof it long most of the game. We were too powerful for them, we looked dangerous everytime we went forward and apart from a couple of moments comfortable when defending. They had every decision go their way 2nd half, more time added on than I have ever seen without an actual serious injury (where did that come from?) And they still couldn't score. The Wycombe manager said the other week they had just been beaten by the champions. Today is the first time this season I thought we looked like the champions.
