I'm not a Famewo fan either, he's very poor on the ball. But he's the only left sided CB we have so a must start if playing in a back 3.

The old Johnson we know returned today. Good to see him back,my MOTM and great effort to get on the end of the cross. Vaulks was rock solid in the middle too, great tackle for the goal.

We will finally have a long term strategy if Danny stays. There shouldn't be any doubt and we should do everything to keep him if we do go down. Imagine seeing players coming in who improve us and suit our system too. Unheard of at SWFC.

Ubgo was scoring lots and gets a lot more chances playing as CF and in the box more. He also has good link up play but it doesn't work when playing wide as he's not a ball carrier. Gassama is our best ball carrier and most crrative player without Poveda, he won us the game at QPR. Can't understand him only getting 10 mins and he looked dangerous once he was on. Staton never asked Danny about either of these

Ugbo was scoring every game when played as the main striker. Ever since he's moved to the wide forward role I don't think he's scored once. He is our best finisher so why the heck is he now played wide? He nearly scored today but only got one chance. Smith battles hard but I just cannot understand why we don't play Ubgo and a pacy winger in gassama. He looked lively but only got 10 mins. Need to go back to what was working Danny.

RS only have one game covered on DAB abd FM, wtf? Anyone heard why no sign of Ugbo?

Set pieces in general we are terrible at, attacking and defending. We have the height to be effective so it appears down to coaching, clearly not Danny's forte so why aren't any of the other coaches improving this area? Powell has had a good impact overall, but I wonder what Pederson does if he isn't working on set pieces. We concede too many from corners and don't score any, it's clear as day this weakness could cost us survival. Danny needs to be asked about this as it's a major problem. And our long throws are an utter waste of time too, I knew yesterday when we kept getting them they would lead to nothing- why can't be just throw it short? Short passing and movement seems to be Danny's philisophy anyway, so it seems very contradictory to then persist with long throws- really don't get it.

When we signed him he had a pretty good record overall, and seemed to be young and ready to improve. But there were character issues with him which was why Hull wanted to get rid so badly, we never paid attention to that and have been punished for it. I remember him prancing around literally in the interview after he signed and though he isn't taking things seriously- it's been the same every friggin day this with this waster. He has no clue that he's wasting his career, probably will take until he's unsigned next season and eventually gets a low ball offer from some league two club. Not Danny's fault we signed him and he's trying to get something out of him, but the guy doesn't give a damn about this club so send him into the reserves to rot. You can see it on the pitch he prances about and doesn't care one bit. We have enough options especially when Poveda's back.

Windass has the quality but can't seem to stay fit. I think he'll have a big impact when returning in this side but think we will rightly move on from him in summer- we can't keep offering contracts to players who miss half the season.

Tbf Neymarv plays every game and isn't that young anymore, not suprising he's looking knackered. He really needs a break but with Pedersons injury, does Danny trust James to play him there? Don't think he has the same engine but think he deserves a shot as Marv needs a break for a week as he's looked off it for a few games now.

Musaba has been a match winner many times this season though, can't forget that. He seems to save his best for away games where we can hit teams on the counter more and he has the space to run into- I'd play him vs Ipswich and Gassama at home. He has a bit of JJ about him, which isn't a bad thing. Smith was better than Gregory last season and is younger so should be the better bet, but agreed no harm in giving Gregory a try. Though I doubt either will be effective if one up front, but that formation works best for us overall. Forgot about Windass, he offers something different and was playing well as a no 10 in 4-2-3-1 before injury. Need him back which gives us that other way of playing.

Think it's clear we are reliant on Ugbo and Poveda. I like Musaba and Gassama and both have shown good spells just not as consistently effective. Think we could beat many teams without Poveda, but not sure about our striker backups if anything happens to Ugbo. Smith- looks short of confidence and a shadow of last years 20 goal man. Not sure if it's just lack of match practice and confidence, but the system doesn't seem to suit him either. Cads- going through a tough spell, not really getting the chances he did before in a two. Seems like it needs a different formation to 2 up top to get the best out of him, but he's only young and improving. Wilks- hasn't played up front in a long time but even on the wing he lacks impact and Röhl doesn't seem to really trust him. Sure he'll be gone in the summer. It's clear that Ugbo has to be a priority in the summer along with at least one other striker. Sure Röhl will have his targets but hopefully we can get safety secured before the final game.

Has this been confirmed by Danny and any reason given for it? Don't want to trawl back through the thread, just looked on here wondering what was happening about this.
