    Could not agree more. I’m so disappointed we didn’t give two strikers a spell this season.

    I think we’ve been a shambles with our striker acquisitions. Why do we employ 5 out and out strikers when we play one up top? Gregory, Smith, Bailey, Ugbo and Fletcher. And we’ve Pato who can “do a job”.

    No idea. Win at Blackburn and it’s clearly back on.

    Two wins and a draw probably gets us out of it. If the last few weeks have shown us anything, it’s that there’ll be unexpected results through to the end of the season.

    We didn’t play with two strikers. Ugbo was wide.

    Danny plays with one striker. We had Bailey and we acquired Ugbo. We had Smith up our sleeve. How many do you want?

    Criticism of Danny is fair. He’s made some mistakes for sure. But in any normal season his mistakes would mean the difference between finishing say 12th and 17th. The problem is that DC and Munoz hung a dead-weight round his neck in the first 20 games. 2 points! Rediculous.

    I think early on in Danny’s time when Gassama and Musaba were showing great promise, his 4231 made sense. But when it became clear that neither were consistent enough to start, and were better as impact subs, then absolutely we should have used 352.

    We should distinguish between is he a good player? Yes. Is he playing well enough to start at present? Absolutely not. He’s had 3 shockers and we can’t afford that. I can’t think of any earthly reason why he started today.

    Doesn’t say much for the rest of them because I think it’s between Baz and Pol for MoM.

    Was fairly tripe. Sorry to disagree with the two positive posts, but I thought he was a weak link today. Very surprised and disappointed to see him emerge after half-time. Did absolutely nothing second half.
