  1. They still owe 10.2 million from cheating their way to the PL. How come they've not had points deductions for that in the last five years?
  2. Well signing RJ appears to have been yet another load of cash just wasted, hope he's on a one year contract. If he's never going to be used what is the point in having him on the bench?
  3. DR basically saying DC lacking in ambition and investment. Sounds to me like he'll be off when a decent offer comes in. That said, he must bear a big slice of blame for yesterday's debacle in terms of both team selection and tactics. Losing was bearable, losing in that manner was not.
  4. Unfortunately no matter how badly things go for our rivals, performances like yesterday make it less meaningful. I hope DR is taking careful note when it comes down to renewing contracts, or more likely not renewing them, based on yesterday's abysmal efforts and on the other eight 'cup finals' that we now face.
  5. This plus the fact that this type of collapse has happened far too often this season though not quite to the extent of conceding six goals. Big clear out needed. The defence concedes far too easily and we're the lowest scorers in the Championship.
  6. QPR drew at Sunderland whilst Blackburn drew at Middlesbrough, that's two of our remaining away fixtures to play so no excuses for not at least matching these results. Coincidentally the other two teams, QPR and Blackburn, make up our remaining two away games. So that's four away games against teams that didn't score a goal between them today. If we then add our four home games in the mix we have a decent chance of survival but there is absolutely no more room for excuses IMO. Today was abysmal, let's move on.
  7. It might turn out that way as far as contracts are concerned because this sort of performance doesn't encourage DR to keep many of them.
  8. TBH we've had a lot of very, very poor away days this season but this is a new low.
  9. Sounds like Johnson is playing for Ipswich today even though he didn't sign for them.
  10. Well we've taken draws against Leeds and Leicester.
  11. At this rate could be three pay-offs in a season for Darren.
  12. See Darren's having another tough afternoon ATM as Port Vale 0-1. I'm not sure he'll see out his five year contract.
  13. It was always going to be a questionable post claiming that anybody was no better than Xisco, never mind Danny. Xisco was a complete and utter fraud of a manager. In retrospect he was to Wednesday what Liz Truss was to the UK economy, an unmitigated disaster.
  14. I'd be happy if they just did away with parachute payments to allow the Championship to be more competitive.
  15. Rotherham came within a minute or so of getting a draw at Ipswich, we are better than them. I'd take a draw now but all the pressure is on Ipswich to win this one at home after folding in time added on at Cardiff. The way results are going at the moment anything can happen in the Championship.
