My older brother was a spurs fan and I saw Waddle in the late 80s / Italia 90. Then he seemed to disappear (to France as it turned out) but as the Premier league was starting off, Waddle came back to England and that was it. I was 11 in 1992 when Waddle signed for Wednesday and they became 'my team'

Too late now, maybe 10 yrs ago. But he's in his 70s now, needs to retire and enjoy life.

agree with that, big players such as Pogba or Hazard haven’t had as much success since changing teams. id say a couple of years back Hazard was in the top 5 footballers.... he went to Spain and has dropped incredibly. makes no difference on how they were, it’s how they push on & fit in the new team. Like the square peg / round hole scenario.

I can’t see how Grobbelaar is in that list of great WEDNESDAY keepers I can’t think of him ever playing apart from maybe a reserve game
