  2. Interesting that mate. Cheers for posting.
  3. Come on now, we all know DC can’t be relied upon to be so sensible…. Think about how frustrated we are with the ownership as fans. Then imagine DC has the power over whether you can fulfil your mortgage agreement or not The players must be fed up of him.
  4. Ross Wallace. He’d stand up & be counted. A tremendous bit of business on a free.
  5. All Time Low Babyshambles Cake Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (& thank you Chansiri) The Fall (through the league)
  6. The Go-Betweens Badly Drawn Boys (especially against Swansea)
  7. I agree. We’ve had a bad patch but there’s time to put it right. Everyones acting like we’re already down. It doesn’t matter if we’ve been in the bottom 3 all season as long as we’re out of it by the end of the final day.
  8. This is how it will pan out….. We stay up this year thanks to DR’s heroics. By a miracle he stays over the summer. We start the next season brilliantly & we’re sitting between 5-9th come next November. Then he gets poached. And we drop like a stone…….
  9. Well that’s the thing with the treaty of Versailles…. Britain gained some German colonies and the German navy was destroyed but... Lloyd George thought the treaty was too harsh, and said: “We shall have to fight another war again in 25 years time.” The diplomat Harold Nicolson called it “neither just nor wise” and the people who made it “stupid” and the economist John Maynard Keynes prophesied that reparations would ruin the economy of Europe. Whereas the french got Alsace-Lorraine, German colonies, harsh reparations and a tiny German army but...plenty of French people wanted an independent, not a demilitarised, Rhineland and most French people did not think the League of Nations would protect them against Germany. We all know what happened next Eric. Who are we playing anyway?
  10. Is this a reissue? If so where can they be ordered? Looks great
  11. Lovely stuff. And it’s fresh in the memory at a mere 28 years ago! Just to get the youngsters perspective on that video here’s what football looked like 28 years before the Blinker goal: Isn’t it amazing how much football & society progressed between 1968 & 1996 but how little things have changed since then? In the 90’s I looked at my Dad like he was out of touch & getting on, today my kids look at me like I’m cooler than the Fonz. In fact the only discernible recent changes I can recall is how hip the newer M&S clothing ranges are & how slippers have become much more comfortable.
