  1. A fool and his money are easily parted and we have the biggest fool around. As for Pulis, he has zero credibility with me, I'm not interested in his opinion.
  2. I desperately hope this is true. We have a fantastic opportunity with Röhl, the only problem is the shadow being cast by Chansiri.
  3. Struggle to care TBH. It's in our own hands now for the first time. All we need to do is what's necessary without worrying about other scores, not directly involving a relegation rival anyway.
  4. A better message would be... Dear Dejphon Chansiri Irrespective of what happens in the last 2 games, please sell the club. Regards The SWFC fanbase
  5. The squad is weak, so obviously still lacking in many areas and we are now probably where we would have been had we not conceded the first 10 games. To be in the position we are now, with this squad and having conceded the first 10 games is a monumental overachievement.
  6. Chansiri is locked in intense negotiations for the heating equipment as we speak..
  7. Need at least a point next week, otherwise we are guaranteed to be back in the bottom 3. Given our previous results against the top 6, it's a big ask, but achievable.
  8. Don't bank on that. First and last games of the season are usually silly season results wise. We've seen lately some surprising results including the top teams. Hopefully, we can pull off a surprise against West Brom.
  9. Yes. It's most likely that one of Birmingham or Huddersfield will win, therefore either go back above us if we lose. A draw wouldn't be a disastrous result, but could conceivably also see us back in the bottom 3. Whatever the permutations, it's going down to the last game.
  10. Even in the euphoria of today, I know what you mean. Experience suggests, a draw the most likely best outcome vs a top 6 team and most likely one of Birmingham or Huddersfield will win, meaning we could be back in the bottom 3. Best just to enjoy the result today though, next week will take care of itself. At this stage of the season, unpredictable results can happen. I've resigned myself to relegation after the summer and our awful start, I'm not letting myself dare to believe yet, but cautiously hoping I can do after the next round of games.
  11. To be still in contention at this stage of the season is an achievement, for it to be in our own hands is outstanding by Röhl and his backroom team, especially considering this is his first managerial role. It's the most Wednesday thing in the world to be back in the bottom 3 next weekend though, so just enjoy it this week and keep everything crossed next Saturday.
  12. Get in!!!! Much better second half. Thankfully, the Blackburn keeper knows how to finish and gave us a cushion to see the game out fairly comfortably. It's been a fantastic weekend, feels great to get out of the bottom 3.
  13. Don't think we've played particularly well. An excellent goal from Windass in a game otherwise very low on quality. If being super optimistic, I suppose you could say we grew into the game towards the end of the half. Still in it, but improvement needed if we are to win. At some point we are going to have to start to look like a team who needs to win a game of football to stay up.
