  1. I think we are negotiating at exactly the right time, ahead of the final summer transfer window. I still have concerns about the reach he has, like someone said…he does look quite small in the sticks. But equally, you don’t get international honors if you’re dogger
  2. How did that not go in? Underside of the bar and then the post in one go.
  3. It’s basically impossible to predict I wouldn’t put it past Wednesday to win all 3 games, nor would I put it past us to lose all 3
  4. Looks like international coverage continues as is
  5. Right decision to let him go, wrong decision not to replace him He’s a bit one paced for the Championship for me, and not all that durable either Excellent at League One level…if you can get him on the pitch often enough
  6. Something strange about this Went home and then found a season ending injury Is he in jail?
  7. Beadle Valentin (Palmer) Ihiekwe (Iorfa) Bernard (Famewo) Johnson (Pedersen) Vaulks Bannan Musaba (Gassama) Paterson Windass Ugbo (Smith) —— Beadle Iorfa (Palmer) Ihiekwe (Diaby) Bernard (Famewo) Valentin (Palmer) Bannan Vaulks Johnson (Pedersen) Paterson (Musaba) Ugbo (Smith) Gassama (Windass) Assuming that Poveda is crocked, these are our 2 main blueprint formations I’d assume
  8. Windass is an important player especially with Poveda being out Sure he was quiet last night, but who wasn’t crap in that first half
  9. I just don’t think Palmer is good enough to play in that position on a regular basis Fair enough to step in every now and again if Vaulks needs a break, but they are a decent way apart in terms of ability in that position
  10. That 2nd half last night was really fun to watch. I wouldn’t want to see us do that too often as it simply wouldn’t work, but just banging it into the box at every opportunity was quite amusing, I have to say. Paterson, Smith, Vaulks and Cadamarteri were in full smackdown mode
  11. Despite a real clanger and a general dodgy first half overall, he ended up keeping us in it
