For the LW I would like us to look at someone like Keane Lewis-Potter at Brentford. 21/22yr old LW, only made 10 appearances for them in the league last season but was at Hull City before that and made 46 appearances with 12 goals in 21/22 (Championship) and 43 appearances with 13 goals in 20/21 (League One). Could we get him in on loan?

I’ve said all along that Pol.V is nowhere near as good as Palmer and tonight showed that. The keeper didn’t really have many saves to make but his distribution was class. d’Shon looked good, Bambo was more Bambi but still think there’s a player in there will just take time. Musaba has got so much expectation on him but he’s very light weight and raw. His decision making needs to be better

Hopefully DC will see that you have to sell players to reinvest. The signings of Bernard and Musaba in particular could be worth much more in a few years

Genuinely a little bit excited for this one. He’s not going to be a world beater right away but there is bags of potential there if we can get that out of him. Yes, it didn’t work out for him at Monaco but they must have seen something in him to pay €2m in the first place. Previous young wingers at Monaco don’t forget we’re Bernardo Silva and Mbappe so their scouts know what a player with potential looks like. (I’m not for one minute saying he will reach those heights but I’m pointing out the scouting system). He has pace, can use both feet, looks like he has en eye for goal too. Could be a good fit and hopefully one we can sell on for a decent profit in a season or 2.

If we get promoted in any of the next 5 seasons then I will be quids in and over the moon but let’s be realistic about it, much more chance of being in League One again than the Premier League so comparing early bird prices from EPL teams to our prices is a bit irrelevant, comparing us with the other teams in the same division would be more accurate.
