  1. Genuinely think the home kit is one the best ever. But really don’t understand the mentality behind changing the cross. It’s just weird.
  2. Best side to come to Hillsborough this season for me. We did well to compete in the first half and had our moments, but were miles off overall.
  3. Can’t see QPR going down on that showing. Battered West Brom. Deserved more than a point.
  4. Midfield could prove to be a real problem with any injuries. Ridiculous that we didn’t sign another in January.
  5. Brilliant. The second he sees the pass to Iorfa, he instinctively steps off into space.
  6. Definitely seems that way. However this season ends I’m sure DC will find a way to balls it up.
  7. As @areNOTwhatTHEYseem says, it’s subjective. For me in the most simple terms, the criteria is this.. 1. What’s the goal? Survival 2. Have we done enough? I suppose we won’t know until the end of the season. And that is a very simplistic way of looking at it that doesn’t even take into consideration overall strategy or long term planning.
  8. Winning 4 games in February/March doesn’t show anyone to be a “chump”. May is when we get to see if it was a good window or not. We go down and our 2 loan stars go back, was it a good window?
  9. “Looked good”. So you’d seen Ugbo play before we signed him? Reality was, he was bit part player for a few months at Cardiff and a virtual unknown to 99% of us. You HOPED he’d be good. As did everyone. Luckily for you (as it clearly matters to you with you bumping this thread to gloat), he’s been fantastic. Whoever identified him as a target clearly knows what to look for in a striker, which makes a refreshing change for us. Poveda was someone I’d seen play before and said at the time he’s exactly the type of player we should be going for. As did a few others. But again, neither me, you or anyone else could have anticipated the impact they’d have. As for Röhl not being happy with the window. Come on ffs, it was obvious with the way he spoke and the things he said. At the time and afterwards. On more than one occasion he’s spoken about potentially bringing in free agents, which in itself suggests he feels we need more. For me it’s clear, we’ve got a useless clown as an owner who will do the absolute bare minimum every window. January was no different. Luckily for us he’s managed to select a fantastic manager and a couple of quality championship players.
  10. Considering Röhl’s demeanour and comments at the time, I think it’s clear he wasn’t pleased with the window. Nobody could have predicted the incredible impact of Poveda and Ugbo. Looking like a couple of inspired signings.
  11. Have to agree with this. Think he’s the best of the 3 we’ve used this season tbh.
