  1. I want what’s best for Wednesday and as many of our fan’s believe we are already down - we have nothing to lose by appointing Warnock. Love him or loathe him - he is a good manager at this level and would represent our best chance of staying up . But could he work for Chansiri?
  2. We should all be happy that the worst manager we have ever had has gone. I hope ALL the fans get behind Thomo and the team v Huddersfield- in pursuit of our first win. Chansiri protests are a distraction - and for once he should just be ignored with the focus on supporting our team. As for Darren - he should get a good reception without going over the top. He is history and support should be directed towards Neil Thompson. WAWAW
  3. 1-Having seen all the games home and away where Cook has managed Wigan v Wednesday - I just don't get the love affair with and craving for Cook to be manager. Wigan played sh@te football and only beat us because Wednesday in some games, were worse. 2-I don't get the constant slagging off of Chansiri. Ok he put ticket prices up and he's made mistakes - but he has invested in the club more than anyone else in pursuit of promotion to the premier league. His biggest mistake was not whatever he allowed to happen to incur the points deduction, but in not appointing an experienced Championship manager in his first season. He obviously realises this now with his appointments since Jos. 3-I don't get the negativity towards Pulis with everyone going on about his boring style of football. I have had a season ticket at Hillsborough for over 35 years. For most of that time I wasn't fooled into thinking I was watching Real Madrid. For most of the time it has been pretty bad - especially since 2000 - so Pulis does not have to do much to improve things. Get behind him and give him a chance. One thing is certain - Wednesday won't be going down-100% guaranteed. WAWAW --RANT OVER
  4. Yes I am because I am a Wednesdayite who will always support this club. Supported them when we were one game away from the old Division 4. So this season whilst frustrating is a breeze in comparison. WTID
  5. Desperately need to get wins in next two games. Can't keep relying on teams at bottom losing. However pi$$ed of we are with club and all the rumours circulating - we need to get behind the team. Huge respect to fans who travelled today and safe journey home. WTID
  6. Does anybody rate him? Big weakness for me - need to sign a replacement and ship out. Don't get what Carlos sees in him. Shocking again tonight. Wish he had refused to play - oh wait................ UTO
  7. Having attended all of Wednesday's games this season, I think we need to make some simple changes. Carlos needs to find some way of playing Abdi in central midfield, he is wasted playing wide. Forestieri needs to be played on the left side from where he has scored most of his goals. Wallace is out of form and Buckley should be given a chance. Finally Carlos needs to admit to himself he made a big mistake and never play Jack Hunt ever again. He is a liability, a full back who can't defend or make a pass - and who probably caused Lee's injury at Norwich with the second half hospital ball he gave him. I would rather Carlos played Vermijl, who I don't rate either - until he can sign a full back who can defend. WAWAW
  8. Fans have every right to react how they want if Forestieri does play for owls again. But I hope if there is a negative response its more muted indifference rather than outright booing. After all he is our player and we need him to perform.
  9. It may have turned into a ticket price thread if that's what people think is the main reason why out attendances are poor. For me, a season ticket holder for over 30 years currently enjoying some of the best football since the Waddle era, it was a genuine concern as to how long it will last with the quality of players we have - should Chansiri believe the level of support does not justify his investment.
  10. Following on from our start of the season match day pricing, I think our home crowds have been disappointing. Even for games when prices have been reduced or incentives the take up from supporters has been poor - with the exception of Arsenal. So I ask - 1) What can be done to improve attendances at home games? 2) Will Chansiri be keen to continue investing in his quest for promotion if attendances and income doesn't increase?
  11. Rather an arrogant looney - who has had success in the Championship Than a clueless buffoon.
