  1. Post match analysis happens on every football forums after every game, which will inevitably involve some apportioning of blame. Not sure why we were so open, exposed & disorganised for their goal. Completely the opposite of how Blackburn defended their lead. Not sure why 3 of our top 4 goal scorers were on the bench. Not sure why we played our striker with the highest goals to mins ratio out wide, to accommodate Smith. Gives 100% effort, but not really buying the Smith love in at the moment. These are my opinions, not really howling at the moon.
  2. He's right when he said that his tactics have given us a chance of survival. He' was massively naive for not switching to method management for our last 4 games & it cost us today. With 4 games left, we didn't have time to wait for Windass to get up to speed. Blackburn, even before their goal at Leeds had 2 banks of 4, when ever Leeds attacked, denying any space. We remained wide open after our goal. Naive. Poor management today.
  3. Yes that's right. And I'd forgot that a small number of Cov fans had recently racially abused their own player. Racism should be condemned when ever it happens.
  4. Nope, all clubs, their police force & fan base have racism to deal with & defeat.
  5. Coventry fans racially abusing their OWN player, just 8 months ago. Racism still present in football at our club and certainly at Coventry.
  6. Yep, Coventry fans were taunting the death of Leicester s Asian owners. Even if there was no racial intent, an awful act.
  7. All medium/big clubs like us & Coventry will have thankfully isolated incidents of racism, as seen last week. It not whataboutism, it obvious for those with a brain.
  8. And at some point in the future, Coventry will have a nobhead fan that shouts a racist comment or does the awful monkey gesture. I won't be naive enough to take the moral high ground.
  9. He could just talk to the multitude of black players who have played for us & ask them. We've had a small handful of nationally reported shameful racist incidents over the last 30 years. No different from most other clubs.
  10. Get the feeling that losing Johnson, may be the straw that breaks the Camels back for DR.
  11. It's never stops this debate does it. It is both baffling & irritating. Some despite all evidence to the contrary think Dawson is a safe pair of hands in the Championship.
  12. You just couldn't resist the 'which wasn't overly important ' comment could you Despite all the evidence, both transfer moves, & performance metrics suggesting it's very important.
  13. Agreed, there's always been a cohort on OT whose sole purpose is to tell others that they aren't worthy of having opinions on football (which is the whole point of the forum). Not sure why they come on & what they think should be discussed on a football forum. They have something missing in their lives, is my guess.
