zero chance of this happening now... i think the design is awful too.. the west stand bit the protrudes out behind the south stand and faces towards the south stand? yeuck. what id like to see is the posts removing from the kop.. the west stand demolishing completley.. (theres too much bad history attached to the old stand) the north west terrace demolishing.. i dont see the point in us keeping it... its hardly ever used.. and uncovered.. and a faff with the police / safety people if theres going to be away fans in it that might cause even a tiny bit of trouble.. and a new slightly wider / bigger two tier stand building in their place but with no posts and a more even split of size so we can give away fans the lower terrace and use the top for home fans if we need to..

sat behind the goal in the in the 90's and david hirst unleashed a thunderbolt of a shot... it just skimmed the top of the bar and smacked my dad on the side of the head who was turned talking to my brother... he was seeing stars for a good ten minutes after that!! hed just put his bovril down on the floor too.. threw the ball back to Kevin pressman loads of times too when we used to sit in the west lower stand around the same time.. :D

one thing i did pick up on when mandaric was being asked about jones was that he said I (mandaric) have not spoken to him and that 'my (mandarics) first meeting' with jones was the day after megson was sacked.. rather than denying any contact.. im sure sure aldridge or someone else will have spoken to him and mediated..

very pedantic.. yes.. re-read what i said, i said he has the potential to offer more... from my viewpoint he seems pacier, and his long throw was more direct giving defenders less time to react, rather than looping in the air. im looking forward to seeing more of him...

rose tinted spectacles i know... but where would we have been now if antonio had signed in january or earlier? for me he's the player we have been missing since marshall left.. a winger that can cross.. or put the fullback in a position to cross and from saturday's performance looks like he has the potential to offer more than marshall

Gutted doesnt even begin to describe it... you have made the wrong decision Milan.. you've got this one so so wrong.. we had a brief wobble but looked set to get back on track after the Derby victory on saturday.. did you not here the fans chanting Meggo's name?? the best atmosphere iver ever been in at hillsborough.. Thanks for everything Gary.. you brought the passion and spirit back and you made me feel proud to be an Owl again..

to clarify.. the brick that struck where we where rammed onto the tram hit the window in the door, which is made of plastic rather than the glass of the main windows.. so unlikely to shatter...

it wasnt... i was on that tram.. id say it was about 75% blades and the rest owls.. one guy sat next to where we where stood was in his 80's and blind.. and also an owl.. we had to help him off when we arrived and directed him to the nearest police officer.. there where bricks and glasses thrown.. one brick smashed into the window about 2 inches from my mates head.. if it had gone through he'd have been VERY serously injured... i dont like the blades as much as any owl, but they where utterly disgusting scenes.. im all for a bit of verbal banter with any rival fans the look of pure hate on the 'wednesday fans' faces as they threw the glasses and bricks at the tram was awful... made me feel sick, ashamed and marred an otherwise BRILLIANT day.. the atmosphere in the kop was the best ive seen it for years..

and you cant use your online printed off ticket in the pay gates either... which i found out on saturday with a big queue on the non-cash gate to get into the grandstand... and the paygate sat there with nobody going in... it still had a barcode scanner.. so why not turn it on and shorten the queue on the other turnstile.. (not so important on the other stands... but when there are only two turnstiles for the entire grandstand...) madness i tells thee!

the fickle nature of our home support needs to stop.. its killing the club. 15 years of this crap? disillusioned? 'ive paid 20 quid to see this' stop looking back and being negative look forwards.. and be positive.. no matter what.. weve got the right man in the backroom now and we will climb the ladder again... but not without the fans unequivocal support better support... = more confident players and will eventually turn into better performances.. most of the players have got the skills.. they just need confidence and support of their own fans... you wouldnt scream obsenities... boo and tell them how poo poo they where if it was your own kids out there.. you'd give them encouragment..! its upto the manager to see the faults / and mistakes the players make and then work on them and hopefully learn from those mistakes in training. the peterborough game was a prime example.. booing in the first half... then a fantastic atmosphere at the start of the second when they performed a bit better... you could see the spark this generated in the players performances.. we need to back them at hillsborough NO MATTER WHAT...

first time ive seen osbourne play last night and thought he was AWFUL.. gave the ball away far too much... id get rid of the ENTIRE midfield and start again, apart from palmer as he genuineley had a bit of vision and creativity about him and COULD turn into a great player if nurtured properly.. with a better midfield in front of them... i the defence would play a lot better.. but could do with a steady head in there at centre back... (i think buxton can do this for us is he stays fit!) get rid of Clinton morrison.. hes lost his edge.. all he does is back into players, then run around flailing his arms like mr tickle complaining to the ref and anyone else within 20 yards. mellors not interested now irvines left. big fan of heffernan, but he needs to take advantage of the chance hes got now if he starts against southampton and prove he can be the player ive been clammering to see get a run in the side ALL SEASON..!
