  1. We had a similar chance to that and somehow missed, they took theirs, that’s the difference between a top side and one fighting relegation. Literally the only difference though, we did well and matched them for the majority of that half, still got a chance I just don’t know where the goal is going to come from.
  2. With my optimistic hat on, WBA and Sunderland could be good opponents to finish the season with, one getting ready for the play offs and another about as mid table as it gets. Hopefully they both bin it right off
  3. If anybody ever wants to know how good a player he is, the fact that we never mention his dreadful haircut should be all the proof they need. Top, top player. If we stay up, it has to be a priority to get him back
  4. Even though we’ve been closing the gap for a while, this is the first time all season I’ve actually felt like we might stay up. Winning can become a habit and you can see the increased belief in the way the team plays, the difference between this and the first few months of the season is ridiculous. Think we’ll do it with games to spare
  5. Completely agree. Although it would be very Wednesdayesque to be terrible against Plymouth and then go and tonk Leeds.
  6. Semedo, never understood the love. Nice lad with a lovely smile, but as soon as we went up to the championship his limitations became obvious.
  7. Think we were still on the right track when Glenn Roeder was here tbh. We seemed to make some clever, inexpensive signings at that time and the club seemed to heading in the right direction, with a proper football man involved. Then came the great spendathon and things started to unravel.
  8. We’ll beat them just to renew a little optimism, then get thumped by Millwall and Rotherham
  9. Not usually that bothered about the cups, but realistically, Saturdays result confirmed relegation, season has been a total plop show, so hopefully we can somehow fluke through this and have a good run.
  10. Imagine if your idea of fun involved going to a grotty public toilet with your equally grotty mates. I’d love to be that cool. Will never understand how anybody can’t survive 90 minutes and enjoy a game of football without needing the bag, pathetic.
  11. Read it 5 times, fully aware that it doesn’t say Prince Charles. Still seeing the words Prince Charles
  12. I’ll be gutted if we don’t let Dawson go up and take it
  13. Would be great, but no chance, a team far higher up this league will be in for him.
