Wilder has also said the same but I’d normally be happy to be on the other side of the debate to Wilder

Bernard and Poveda not going to make it
New Zealand Owls replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Even if Poveda is back for WBA he's been out a while so his impact will be minimal for the last 2 games. Such a shame as he probably is the difference between us stopping up or going down. Bernard is quality but with Dom back and bambo doing ok then we can cope with this....just -
@pat blondeau Tranmere have said something similar to me. But those lot sold us Ian Nolan so I don't really trust them.
-
Grimsby and Accrington made statements ,saying they was never asked about scrapping replays Fa are a joke

Let them pi33 off to European superleague because all our FA do is pampa them and suck up to Premier League..let them go and any other clubs what want to join it...then when it goes t1ts up which it will then if welcome back they join at the very bottom tier.

Bernard and Poveda not going to make it
Mike Hunt replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
People were saying the same about Johnson last week -
Beadle Icky, Diaby, Famewo Pol Palmer Vaulks, Bannan Pato, Gassama Ubgo We need Patos pressing, Ugbo is more of a goal threat than Smith and Gassama can add some pace up from Palmer better defending than Johnson. Need to keep it tight

The FA Cup tie was typically always one to draw a bigger crowd than a league game. Nowadays it’s secondary to the league and most teams rest players, with the big guns almost putting out second string team. The replay was always a boost for weaker sides to either get a big pay day away at a big club or the glory of bringing a big club back for a home tie. The financial loss of these big pay days will not help lower league clubs, so perhaps the third round could be seeded so that if a non seeded team draws a seeded one, they get the choice of the tie being home or away.
