Utah Owl
Just wondering if there have been any further developments on this? Also might the mods want to pin it?

The Regulator
There has. I received everything late Weds. The minutes are 90 odd pages long (since 2011). I'll stick them into Google Docs at the weekend.

GoldGigsChris
Good thinking and well done The Regulator! Minutes of meetings prior to major games (Brighton, Cardiff, Arsenal, etc.) will give a flavour of why they limit our crowd. We may have to delve into older documents to find someone actually minuted as stating why Hillsborough need 30 yards of segregation and yet other local grounds only need two rows of stewards. What's not said may be as important as what is.
enjoyyourfootball
Thanks The Regulator for getting these. Hopefully it will shed some light on what at times from the outside looking in sometimes seem to be strange decisions regarding the use of the ground. ANDY
Even for next season the far left block of seats in the north, and the bottom block closest to west stand on the south are not available on the season ticket map.
Last_Great_Hope
Even for next season the far left block of seats in the north, and the bottom block closest to west stand on the south are not available on the season ticket map. To be fair - I can see why they would not want season ticket holders there. If they did want to close those blocks they would get a lot of grief from ST Holders being constantly moved. ANDY
Why do they need to close them tho ? Almost every other ground in the country can manage segregation by a line of stewards. Are our fans that much of a hooligan threat ?
WayneTheOwl
Eagerly awaiting the finds of this. We must be only club in the world to require a 1000 seat area as seg from away fans. And the some more. Amazing.
oh_weds_we_love_you
The most amazing part of segregation at Hillsborough is when we have fans on the Leppings Lane End Lower, yet still can't sell all the ends of the South and North!! Segregating our own fans, I can't wait to see that reasoning!!
