carterowl
Beer talk Saturday after the match Idea was if we would get all the ground bouncing early on in the play offs with a prearranged time slot for the bounce like we have for memorial clapping - We went for 4 minutes into the game (4-0 boxing day best reason we came up with) - most will be in there seats by then and still beered up - get it on the screen and see if the whole ground can bounce for a full minute sat in middle of north stand you tend to get one song starting on the kop with the band and then same time a different one starts on north stand wing Get the crowd and players going early on and if all the ground is bouncing look ace on TV

southportdc
Bad idea. Synchronised marching can cause bridges to sway. Sychronised bouncing will take the whole stadium down.
HirstWhoScoredIt
Synchonised Bouncing will lead to SYP and the Safety Advisory Committee reducing the capacity of Hillsborough to 25 people and 155 large nets.

southportdc
http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/videos/breakstep-bridge-minimyth/ Nuh uh YUHUH But when the MythBusters later retested the breakstep bridge with a simpler structure, and with Adam as the lone soldier, the results changed. Adam lightly bounced along a plank bridge to find that elusive resonant frequency. As Jamie removed the planks from the bridge one by one to amplify the oscillations from Jami's bouncing, the bridge eventually broke, deeming the redone myth plausible http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/mythbusters-database/can-frequency-cause-bridge-to-collapse/

londonowl1986
You wouldn't think it was difficult to get 30,000 to clap in time when music is playing but it clearly is. Good luck to you.

Shut the upper Leppings Lane - if the north and south west wings do it, it might save DC a few quid in demolition costs.....
pickledegghiderman
If someone could get the club to play the carlos 8 mile gif on the big screen at hillsborough then it might happen Edited May 4, 2016 by pickledegghiderman
royalowlisback
They hardly ever show the crowd when we are bouncing - and if they do the lower the volume. Swearing in songs tends to be frowned upon by those who run football clubs - even more frowned upon by TV exec's.
kevtheowl
Do you mean a bit like Derby? When they say we're gonna bounce in a minute. No thanks flippingtin pot no way, we should sink to their level. We'll bounce when we want. UTO

londonowl1986
Wait until 7:44:30 next Friday at Hillsborough....when Hi-Ho Silver Lining starts, nobody is actually clapping along. It's basically a round of applause.
