Davetherave
Let me get this clear: An aging Jimmy Seed was signed in 1927/28, his last game being in 1941 some 13 years later. Was he in a wheel chair or was the Zimmer frame around in those days.
Eck
Think it is impossible to compare 1980's football and that in 2016 never mind football in the 1920's. I read a newspaper from late 1918 a while ago and the hot topic of the day was how professional footballers were earning too much money for "kicking a ball around" before the war, and that now they were coming back from Flanders, it was an opportunity to reform football by cutting down the wage bill and making them earn their pay like normal people. Was weirdly familiar.
Guest Fedor
Printed t shirts were first done in the 1950s. Is the rest of the story a lie too?
