Hope he has one of his better defensive games on Saturday. Thats a good point and if McGeady does play there is no need for an overlapping fullback. Thats not a criticism of McGeady, cos unlike Wallace who's game involves working with Hunt to prise an opening for a cross, McGeady is all about trickery and acceleration to make space for a cross or shot. So Palmer is a great call if McGeady plays. That said, Carlos is loyal and I cant see him not playing Hunt. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Why the hell after 44 league games and about to play the most crucial game for years would you switch a player that's played just about every game in central midfield and shove him to right back?
