Holmowl
If you havent got kids with you, you wouldnt go anywhere near it, but took my nine Year old and his pal today and didnt hear one swear word. They got to play on gadgets before the match. It works really well. There was a boy behind us who kept asking his dad if we were playing Tottenham, but I can live with that. the_mutha
There are lots of people up there without kids or with kids that are quite a bit older. Less busy More chance to get a beer More leg room Great view No screaming swearers Only thing I'd like more is a bit of singing.
East Yorks Owl
About 4 or 5 years ago I took my daughter to her first game at Hillsborough and we were playing Coventry in the league. The first ten minutes of the game were so pedestrian it was just like watching the pre match warm up. Anyway I knew that she was wondering if the game had actually started, so when after about 15 mins she plucked up courage to ask I had to smile. Thankfully the product on display now is much more appealing. Also as an aside she stills enjoys coming to matches and she's played girls football solidly for the last 7 years and loves it.
