Guest mrbluesky
10 mins down the road to my house, nice to be home! Westwood - 6 - Not much to do but didn't command his area at times. Palmer - 4 - Poor imho. Never picks a pass and suspect at the back. Lees - 7 - Wins headers, puts challenges in and always looks assured but poor long balls. Loovens - 5 - At fault for their first goal by not winning the header and poor distribution. Pudil - 6 - Targeted in the air but was ok when defending. Sougou - 5 - Scored but did little else and doesn't track back very well. Lee - 6 - Looked poor in the first half but better in the second. They closed him down well. Semedo - 3 - Very poor, mistiming headers and giving the ball away. Ouch. Helan - 5 - Offered little and had no chance to use his pace. Fessi - 7 - Always causes trouble for the other team but quiet in the first half. A good second half. Nuhiu - 5 - Very ineffective but they targeted him and fouled him (which the ref didn't see). SUBS: Joao - 7 - Made a difference. He didn't actually mean his goal, he messed up the header but they all count. Hooper - 7 - Put himself about, all over the place. Wanted to impress and nearly scored. Wallace - 6 - I prefer him on the pitch to Sougou and showed flashes. When a new manager comes in, like at Blackburn, they usually focus on workrate and set pieces which was clearly the case as that is all they offered. We grew into the game and given 20 more minutes I think we would have won... Saying that, the first half was so poor and no one wanted the ball to feet. Putting 2 up front entirely changed the game in our favour. Pretty much spot on Bez 👠

1867Heaven
Forestieri, Lees and Pudil 7 Joao 9 when he came on All the rest 6 Nuhiu 0 Joao 9?He was decent but twice could of done better by releasing the ball instead of trying something fancy. No one got better than 7 for me with Semedo, Palmer, Niuhu all poor.
kevtheowl
If we had started the game with the team that finished, no doubt about it 3pts would have been coming back to Sheffield. CC has got us playing football, that seems to stop when we start with the Lump up top so the solution is easy drop the Lump. UTO
fudge27
It wouldn't have been the same game at all if the team which ended the game started it, so that's a daft comment to make

james o connor
Westwood 6 tad shaky Palmer 4 remembered why I don't rate him. Scared of the halfway line Lees 6 not bad, solid as ever Loovens 4 I can't be the only one who thinks this guy is a weak link Pudil 6 Sougou 5 didn't do anything bar score. Hasn't played in a while so sorta understand it Semedo 3 league one player at best. It's alright banging on about loving the club but he simply ain't good enough Lee 6 struggled with crap around him Helan 4 typical nothing from another league one player Nuihu 4 see above Again looked miles better when subs came on . More points away from home dropped .
JOHNHARKES
Westwood 6 - not much to do couldn't help the goals palmer 4 - poor distribution, shaky. Lees 6 - solid enough as usual. Loovens 5 - struggled at fault for their first. Pudil 6 - decent enough works hard. Sougo 6 - got the goal so credit to him but did little else of note. Semedo 3 - he was awful poor on the ball gave it away far too much... Lee - 6 worked hard tried to add quality, got better in the second half. Helen 5 - poor performance should be a player to bring on not start. Forestieri - 7 worked his socks off, got better and better in the second half, especially when Joao came on and the slug was replaced. PLOPIO - 2 he should be nowhere near starting games, gives us absolutely zero pace, hold up play, or a goal threat, slows the tempo, our defenders resort to lumping as well whenever he plays. But it's oreyt cos he is a nuisance!!!! Joao 8 - game changed, game changer in brilliant form, a real handful, gives us pace, power, movement. Hooper 5- ring rusty but will improve, gives more movement and gets into a lot of goalscoring situations. Wallace 6 - too late to make an impact, but more composure. I pointed out last week Forestieri plays better when Nuhius not playing and was called all sorts. Others starting to see it now.

Mike Hunt
Westwood 7 Palmer 7 Lees 7 Loovens 6 Poodle 7 Semedo 4 Songou 5 Forestieri 7 Lee 8 Helan 6 Dave 4 The one header he actually won resulted in the first goal LJ 7 Hooper 6 needs to get a goal Wallace 7 did well when he came on . Ref and Lino 1 for getting dressed correctly, the fourth official probably assisted in this to make sure their boots were put on the right foot . All in all with players out and a shocking ref a well earned point .

Big Jack
The truth is there far worse players in the first half than Nuhu. We know he ain't good enough but its still unfair to scapegoat him particularly when he got nothing from ref and players. Semedo should be mascot. Oliver Read
Nuhiu always gets targeted by the refs cos he's 6ft whatever. It's so unfair to scapegoat him when he never gets anything going for him. Don't get me wrong, he makes some poor mistakes, but come on, if he didn't then he'd be in the prem. No player is perfect but it's hardto be your best when the ref turns a blind eye.
Buxtongent
Why do we always make a scapegoat of an attacker, when both goals, scored incidentally in the first half, came from set pieces? The first came from a corner when our defenders were all asleep!!!! Incidentally, am I the only one who thinks that our last year's strong man, Westwood, doesn't seem to be controlling his area as well as he used to ? Incidentally, am I the only one who thinks that our last year's strong man, Westwood, doesn't seem to be controlling his area as well as he used to ? He wasn't as dominant in the air last season as you're perhaps remembering (or even mis-remembering!) Our best player last season, but his one weakness over the years has been a lack of bossing the penalty area when crosses come in. A better shot stopper in the league there is not of course, but that's the one area of the game he's needed to improve on... granted this season he seems even less willing to venture even out of his 6 yard box to claim crosses! Does seem like his confidence has taken something of a knock somewhere along the line

B.A Baracus
You've changed your tune. Carlos didnt know what he was doing according to you a few months back. Bizarre. Are you not allowed to change your tune after a few months? CC has proven his doubters wrong over that period, that's pretty clear to see.
