Over the last 10 years or so Iv seen that away end completely full (or thereabouts), I remember pigs filling it, I have no idea why we can't sell them all now all of a sudden.

You only have to go back to 2012 to see it full, there was 36k there iirc when we played the pigs in the 'game they could afford to lose'. Was only the corner not sold.

No they only had 4,700 tickets, see below

Gap was that big they could afford to lose that game. lol

Saying on Arsenal os that decision on further ticket allocation will be announced on Tues 13th now.

Could be waiting to see how ticket sales go on Monday when they go on general sale.

I cringe when people post things like 'We'll sell out easy' when games like this come along and then often we don't even get 30,000 but it does seem Wednesday are holding back allocating the lower tier to Arsenal and have been for over a week now so as you say the only viable reason is that they are waiting to see how general sale goes on Monday.

When someone asked about sales earlier this week Wednesday tweeted that over 12,000 had already been sold so you can probably add a few more thousand on top of that since Tuesday when this was announced so with around 14,000 season ticket holders and 3,000 members I'd say around 80% of these have purchased tickets already.

So, the club are having to remind ST holders on the OS that they have just a little time left to get there Arsenil tickets (see OS), obviously that's what the clamour is and why we aint givin' the west end away !

If the ST's avn't taking up their full allocation already what chance do we mere mortals really have ?

Would seem the club ticket pricing numpty has been caught out again !

There are around 18,000 season ricket holders and members in total and 4 days ago the club reported that 2/3rds of these had already taken up the option of purchasing tickets with 6 days left before general sale so hardly a pricing failure is it?

Plus weren't season ticket holders allowed to buy an extra ticket?

Without doubt we're going to get a big attendance and are going to make some serious money out of this tie.

So we have a stand and a corner that holds approx 8000 and can only sell about 4300 of them......I would love to know of any other club in the country who have restrictions as bad as this

Can remember being at the lane, and them only giving us about a 3rd of top tier, all blunts saying we couldn't sell out, that was because of syp but week before it was full of school kids on free tickets.

I remember that, every third or fourth row wasn't used, something to do with safety of fans when they know they'll be stood throughout game.
