I know people expected big money striker signing with us, but why taking it out on this deal.

Signing talented fella proven in very physical non League in hope that we can improve him can only be a good news.

We shouldnt neglect academy and development squads now we have bit of money to spend. After all the good work we did in order to start producing and developing young talent, it would be a huge step backwards.

Btw. He impressed in friendly game last week, and apparently scored great goal.

Welcome to SWFC and good luck Tom.

Btw. Kivo, I would love to hear if you could write bit more about this player.

Who knows, he could end up making the club money. I've nothing against the club bringing in good young local players. What's to lose?

Stuart Pearce, Ian Wright and Antonio all came from the non-leagues.

Wasn't Che Adams mentioned on here before the blunts signed him too

Colin - and yes he used to be a binman.

In the Star at the time, Howard Wilkinson announced that we'd be signing a defender from a foreign club, and  World Cup striker. We promptly signed the donkey, Kenny Brannigan from some Scottish team, and Colin Walker who somehow managed to play for New Zealand in the World Cup.
